Training exercise: Sub Zero

Cassie: Once we hit the drop point we split up. Jacqui and I will come from the south, you two will come in from the west

Specter: Where do I fall in, sergeant?

Cassie: I'm gonna need you on the east side

Specter: Alright

Jacqui: Rendezvous here, north entrance

Kung Jin: And then what? A simple pickup and go?

Cassie: We bag him if he resists

Takeda: Resistance might be more possible than you think

Cassie: Don't sweat it. If it comes to that,
Sub Zero wont know what hit him

(Specter puts a few flash-bangs on his belt)

(Meanwhile)

(Two Lin Kuei ninjas bow to Sub Zero)

Ninja: The forward defenses stand down as you command, grandmaster

Ninja: It is confirmed, five intruders

Sub Zero: It is time to entertain our guests

(At the Lin Kuei temple door)

Cassie: I've got point, you and Jin take that side

(Takeda and Kung Jin are on one side of the door, while Cassie, Specter, and Jacqui are on the other side)

Cassie: Ready?

(Specter and Jacqui nod)

(A group of Lin Kuei ninjas walk out of the door with Sub Zero, they kneel before a statue and meditate)

(Kung Jin motions towards Sub Zero. Cassie shakes her head, but Kung Jin walks over to him anyway)

Cassie: Dammit Jin

Kung Jin: You! I need to-

(Cassie elbows Jin in the side)

(Specter facepalms)

Sub Zero: You are not welcome here, state your intentions

Cassie: Grandmaster, we need you to come with us. My name is sergeant-

(A group of Lin Kuei surround Cassie's team and draw their swords)

Sub Zero: You demand my cooperation. Yet you are cut off, surrounded. What will you do?

Cassie: My father always spoke highly of you, Sub Zero. He just wants to talk

Sub Zero: Talking. Always his first choice

Kung Jin: Ok, lets try pummeling. Now!

Cassie: Wait!

(Kung Jin attacks a Lin Kuei ninja while everyone mentally facepalms and goes with it)

(Sub Zero kicks Cassie's leg and they both trade punches)

(Cassie kicks Sub Zero away and tries to punch him)

(Sub Zero dodges the punch and headbutts Cassie)

(Cassie draws both of her pistols, but Sub Zero freezes them)

Sub Zero: Cassandra Cage. You lead this group, yet they do not follow. Tell me, what would your mother do?

Cassie: Stop wasting time and take you down

(Sub Zero fights Cassie. Cassie is skilled and well trained, but Sub Zero is clearly the more experienced fighter, and any weapon she tries to use can be countered with his ice powers)
