(Takeda is walking through a demolished city)
(A rope dart hits the wall near Takeda)
(Takeda tries to kick Scorpion several times but each kick gets blocked or dodged)
(Takeda and Scorpion fight hand to hand)
(Scorpion punches Takeda)
(Takeda tries to kick Scorpion but gets ducked under)
(When Takeda flips over Scorpion, he steals one of his swords)
(Scorpion and Takeda briefly sword fight, Takeda throws his sword, which gets blocked, but Takeda flying kicks Scorpion and grabs the flying sword and puts it near Scorpion's neck)
Takeda: Yield
Scorpion: Well done
(Takeda helps Scorpion up)
Scorpion: You are now chujin
(Scorpion bows to Takeda)
Takeda: You honor me, Master Hasashi
(Takeda bows and gives Scorpion his sword back)
Takeda: Now that I'm chujin, how will I serve the clan?
Scorpion: Your future does not lie with the Shirai Ryu
Takeda: But... the clan's my family
Scorpion: When I took you in, I promised your father-
Takeda: I don't have a father
(Kenshi appears)
Kenshi: Yes you do. One who's proud of you.

(Kenshi bows to Takeda)
Takeda: You knew that he was coming? You said nothing?
Scorpion: Knowing that this would be your reaction, yes
(Takeda has an angered expression on his face)
Scorpion: Takeda. Your father is not your enemy
Takeda: Ten years. No visits, nothing. You abandoned me
Kenshi: I did not abandon you
Takeda: I was eight years old! My mother had just died! Now you come back? You think that you can just jump right in as the proud dad?

(Takeda shoves Kenshi)

(Takeda fights Kenshi. Kenshi didn't want to hurt his own son, so he was holding back, which led to Takeda taking the victory)
Takeda: Now get up. I wanna knock you down again
(Takeda walks towards Kenshi)
Scorpion: Takeda! Cease! Kenshi did not abandon you. He brought you here for your own protection
Takeda: Protection from what?
Scorpion: From those who murdered your mother
Takeda: She... She died in an accident
