(On a special forces plane)
Cassie: We land in 15 minutes. We'll enter the sky temple from the terrestrial entrance
(Specter slides a magazine into his pistol and pulls back the hammer)
Takeda: Why not just go straight there?
Specter: We could get shot down by the revenants, or Shinnok
Kung Jin: Not only that, it exists in a different quantum state, slightly out of phase from our reality. It can't be reached by conventional means
(Takeda sighs)
Jacqui: What?
Takeda: It's just the five of us. No one's coming to help. We either pull this off or-
Cassie: We WILL get it done
Specter: I don't have a doubt in my mind
(Specter clips a few flash bangs onto his belt)
(A wave of corrupted Jinsei energy is moving towards the plane)
KungvJin: By the elder gods... what is that?!
Takeda: I dunno. But it's headed right for us
Kung Jin: Elder gods have mercy...
Jacqui: Buckle up, people! I gotta put er down
(Jacqui lands the plane in a forest)
Jacqui: Looks like the temple entrance is fifteen clicks that way
Takeda: A moonlight walk in the woods. Another time, it'd be relaxing
Specter: Yeah
Jacqui: I wouldn't have pegged you for outdoorsy
Takeda: My mother and I lived near a forest a lot like this. Really takes me back
Jacqui: After we wrap this up, we should go
(Cassie tries to fix the jet, but fails)
Cassie: We're grounded. That shockwave fried the leads
Jacqui: Then lets get going. We're almost outta time
(A portal opens up near the jet)
(An army of Osh Tek militia come out, along with Kotal Khan, Ferra, Torr, Erron Black, Reptile, and Ermac)
Kung Jin: What are they doing here?
Jacqui: Looking for the amulet, I bet
Takeda: We have to tell them about Shinnok. Call a truce
Kotal Khan: Bring them to me!
(The Osh Tek army charges)
Cassie: Or not
Specter: Nope, lets go with pummeling
Jacqui: The woods! Come on!
(Everyone runs towards the woods)
(Specter grabs Cassie and teleports into the tree branches)
(Jacqui, Takeda and Kung Jin hide behind some trees)
Ferra: They quiet. Sneaky
Kotal Khan: Ermac?
Ermac: We sense them. But the forest teems with souls
Repile: Yes. So close
(Everyone pops out for an ambush. Cassie and Specter throw grenades, Jacqui uses her arm cannons, Takeda uses telekinesis, and Kung Jin uses his bow)
