i wake up, jj still next to me. i tap his head. "jj... wake up" i whisper. he bops his head up and looks at me. "jade?" he asks. "uh yeah?" i respond.
i look down at him. there's a slash on his forehead, that i didn't see before.
"oh hi, jade." he says. "hey jj. you doin well?" i ask. "better than ever". we both get up. i take a shower and he stays in my room and cleans himself up.
i cant believe jj is here. we kissed last night. than he just appeared in my room? a little weird but if it's jj, i can get used to that.
i wrap my hair in a towel and cover my body and see the biggest spider. i'm not that scared of spiders but it's still kinda unsettling. i walk out of the bathroom. "woah jj there's the biggest spider in there." i say. "he turns around in the spinny chair. he looks at me up and down.
"uhm jj i said there's a spider in there. go play with it while i get dressed" i reassure. "oh okay" he says. as he walks past me, his fingers tip toe across my shoulder.
i change into one of jjs t shirts and wear some distressed shorts. i put on some white sneakers and colorful jewelry. "okay jj, you can come out now" i shout from my room. he walks back in. "damn, you should model my whole closet" he says laughing. "and you should model for mine" i say laughing harder.
we walk downstairs, into the kitchen. "hey jade, oh hi jj!!" my mom says. "hey " jj says as i run to the counter. "jj, i forgot to give these to you last night" i say happily, holding out the jar with both of my hands. "aw caramel, you didn't have to do that, caramel" he says gasping. "hope you like it, blondie" i smile.
he grabs the jar out of my hands and hugs it. "lets go. were gonna meet the crew on the dock again." jj says to me. "wait i need to go do something. you go to the dock and i'll meet you there as quick as i can." jj adds. "take your time" i say as i mess up his hair.

"it's been 20 minutes, where pope and jj?" kie says.
"he told me he was gonna go do something but didn't tell me what," i speak.
"jj and pope. what a weird combo" john b shrugs.
pope comes running up to us. "jjs gone!!" pope shouts. "you mean he just disappeared?" sarah says standing up. "no, he's in jail" pope yells. "wait what, why, again?" kie says in shock. "he fought this guy." pope says sitting down.
oh god, jj is in jail. i feel nothing but the tears run down my face. "h- how long do you think he'll be in there" i stutter. "3 months at least" john b says. my heart shatters. "wait jade are you okay?" sarah asks.
than i just say it. "no. i cant live without jj. knowing he's locked up. he was close with me. he was my first kiss, first love, first date. he came over for help, and had a good relationship with my mom. he was my everything"
"i had no clue. i thought you guys were just friends" kie says. "you guys had a relationship?" john b says. i look up from picking at my nails. "no. we were just friends."

"jade, what's wrong?" my mom asks as i run up the stairs and lock the door. i cry so hard. all i want is jj. i wanna hold him close to me. but now, he's gone.

"jade, baby, come out of your rooms. you've been in there for days." i hear my moms voice say from behind the door. i get up and unlock it, weak to stand. "i heard about jj." she says sitting on my bed with me. i'm unable to speak. "no. i don't hate him. he had good intentions. he fought off some guy that was trying to take this girl. it's okay" she says hugging me. "go talk a walk or something. you'll feel better." she says. "alright, that does sound nice." i say.
i take a shower. i get dressed in a casual white dress and let my hair loose wearing red sneakers.
"oh jade. you're so beautiful." my mom says as i walk in the living room. "thanks mom," i smile "ill be back soon".
