me and john b decided to get supplies for today's mission. we went to the old corner store and got some tools. we're building a treehouse in his yard.
john b purchased a drill and some screws.
the rest of the crew were all doing something different. jj and pope were delivering groceries for popes dad. kie was going on an unexpected shopping trip with her mom. sarah was with wheezie because it was her birthday.
me and john b got in the van. he started the van up and looked at me with a very concerning look, resting his head back. "so what's up with you and jj, huh?" he asks me.
"what?" i ask, not really knowing what direction to go in.
"jade, do you realize how happier you made jj-"
"i wouldn't say that"
"he doesn't even make jokes about dying anymore!!" he smiled.
"you gave him a home. he's never clicked with anyone like this before." he added.
"i don't know i just guess the universe planned this?" i questioned.
he laughed and we sped back home.
after john b getting mad at me because i have no clue how to build, we finally took a break.
me and john b were sitting at the kitchen table when finally pope and jj walked in, hyped about something.
"bro, you would not believe what happened," jj says to john b.
jj sees me and gives me a quick hug and whispers "hey jade, what's up?". pope and john b mock us as usual.
jj releases the hug and looks back at them. "okay so there was this man and he almost shot us" jj says laughing. pope laughs with them and me and john b just look at each other with fake smiles on our faces.
than kie walks in, very quietly and looks at me. she points to pope and jj and mouths, "is this important?". i shake my head and roll my eyes.
"hey" kie says walking in. pope hugs her. i walk up to them and look at pope. "move over it's my turn" i say. he sighs and i hug kie.
kie and pope announces that they're going out tonight so it just leaves me and jj and john b. poor john b.

sometimes i genuinely don't wanna know what jj and john b are talking about. they've been friends forever and the inside jokes are endless. i just sit there looking at the hanging fish on the ceiling of this really broken down restaurant.
after that we all decided to go take a walk on the beach. a classic. jjs holding my hand and john bs. wow i'm really sharing my boyfriend with john b right now. not even gonna be surprised if jj leaves me for him. while we're talking about what we'd do if leprechauns became alive, sarah runs up to john b and do the spiny hug thing.
me and jj just look at each other weirdly. i raise an eyebrow at him and he just looks around.
john b and sarah go do their own thing and me and jj finally have alone time.

i have no clue what i'm gonna do with this story. i didn't base it off anything so i'm struggling. should i quit, or just start a new story? i don't know, help me !!
