"Hey babe," I say as I walk up to Lilli and hug her. I peck at her lips but she deepens the kiss.

"Woah, that was an awesome greeting" I smile after we pull away. She grins and shrugs.

Lilli Allens. A beautiful 20 year old girl with fare skin, long brown hair, and chocolate brown eyes. Kind, friendly and compassionate but very shy. Recently she has just been hired as a doctor at our local Vet, but her other main job which she has been doing for over two years now is to keep me entertained as her boyfriend.

The two of us originally met in high school. Both of us were in a big circle of friends and we talked ever so often, but not too much. Then suddenly she started speaking to me way more, and we sat with each other a lot more. I didn't know why but I accepted it anyway. Then after a while I could somehow tell that she had feelings for me by the way she acted, which made me super happy because I had really liked her for a while. So, it took me a little while, but I built up enough courage to ask her out. She said yes, and so we went out to dinner and a movie. The first date was so successful that we went out for ice skating a couple of days later, and when I dropped her off we kissed in her driveway. We became official as a couple, and to Lilli's embarrassment our friends called us a 'match made in heaven'. Which I agreed with.

"Where are the other guys?" I ask her.

"They texted saying they'll be here soon just then, so I'm not sure," she frowns while looking down at her phone. She then looks up and she smiles as she sees them walking behind me. "Oh wait, here they are."

I turn around to see Matt, Ed and Aiden walking up to us. I smile and wave to them and Matt waves back.

"Hey mate," Matt grins, slapping my hand and shaking it. I shake back and do the same to the other two. The three of them then go up to Lilli and greet her with a kiss on the cheek, which she responds with the same act.

"How you going, bro? Haven't seen you in a while!" Matt says as he comes back to me to talk.

"Yeah, good mate. How are you? How's your girlfriend?"

"Oh man, I forgot to tell you," he says as his smile fades to a frown. "We broke up about a month ago"

"Oh, did you?" I respond, a little disheartened that my best mate lacked in telling me the news. "Sorry to hear that"

"It's fine, but thanks anyway. I can't believe I forgot to tell you!"

"Hey, it's okay," I smile. "I can imagine how upset you must have been. It's okay"

"Thanks for understanding," Matt says, lightly slapping me on the back.

We exchange grins for a second before I look at Lilli, who is talking to Ed and Aiden. I glance over at Ed and notice he is looking at her strangely. A feeling of curiosity flashes over me for a second, but I just brush it away. It must be just me.

"Hey, I'm sorry to interrupt," I step in with a grin. "But I think that we should go to the movie now. There's only a few minutes before it starts."

They all murmur in agreement and we begin walking over to the food area.

"Wait, have you got the tickets?" asks Aiden.
