Elsa's POV

As I ate, I couldn't help but admire  the soup. It was creamy and it had the most luxorious taste to it. The girls around me started a conversation about the dance that EVERYONE was invited to.

"The servants can dance with the messengers and paiges.," Lydia said. "I just ate."

"Lydia says that she doesn't need a man.," Mary giggled. "Last year a paige asked her to dance and she accepted. She obviously liked him and they flirted. But she denies it."

"Ah, Lydia. Denial is the biggest give away.," Linda sighed.

"Oh shut up, will you.", Lydia snapped. But she was blushing slightly.

All the girls laughed but left the subject be.

"Well, i am all done.," Mary said. 'Anyone else?"

"I", I said.

We got up and went to the kitchens to clean up.

"So, tell me about your self. How did you get here?," Mary asked.

I thought about my response. I decided to leave out my powers and my hatred towards the prince.

"Well, my name is Elsa.," I said playfully.

"I know that.," Mary laughed.

"My favorite color is  blue. I have a sister who is Anna. I am nineteen and never had a boyfriend. I know how to cook and play the piano. Even though my parents were poor. My mom knew piano so she taught me, we used the churches piano to practice and I would play when I got the chance. Whenever we got the chance." I said while looking at the window  remembering what happened.

FLASHBACK

I was 15 and Anna was 13.

"Are you ready, Elsa?," my mother asked.

"Yes mother.", I said.

"Anna is working out in the garden so lets hurry.", she replied.

I grabbed my cloak and mother took my hand.

I caught a glance at Anna working out in the garden with some other villaige girls. She looked happy but sad at the same time.

"Come on, dear.", my mother said.

We walked to church and I covered most of my face so no one would recognize me.

"Good afternoon.," a woman called.

"Good afternoon.," my mother replied.

We walked for a while until we reached the church.

I bowed to  God and blessed myself with Holy Water.

"Ah, Mrs. Arrendelle, what brings you here at this time?," the priest greeted my mother.

"I am here to give Elsa her lessons. If it is okay with you.," my mather replied.

"Of course. Hello Elsa.," the priest said.

"Hello father.," I replied.

We walked towards the piano.

"Okay, let's start with the warm up.," Mother said.

I took out a book with piano warm ups.

I played a song called River flows in you

In the past, I made a lot of mistakes on this song because it was a advanced warm up. After many attemps, I got it down.

My mother clapped uncontrollably smiling.

"Amazing!," my mother said.

I smiled proudly. "Mother, why can't Anna come with us?," I asked.

My mothers face clouded. "She has things to do.," she replied sadly.

"I can show her how to play. We haven't seen each other since the accident. Please.," I cried.

Mothers face softened. "My sweet Elsa, this is for your own good. And for Anna's safety. I can't change that. It just has to be this way.," Mother said softly.

And for Anna's safety.

Those words struck me hard. Did my own mother think that I was a monster? Did she think that I would hurt Anna again? That was the day that I decided that my powers were a curse. I agreed to stay away from Anna. That was the day I shut myself out from the world, completely. I only went to practice the piano once a week. I would practice on a long piece of wood and try to create new songs. That vow, however, ended when the enemies attacked my villaige. I still tense up whenever I am with Anna. I'm scared that i am going to hurt her again. I am doing this just to protect her.

 Flashback Ended

"Elsa?," Mary said. "Are you still with us?,"

I realized that I had dazed off.

"Oh! I'm sorry!," I cried. "I got distracted."

"Well, It's all right. It is time to sleep now.," Mary replied. "You can tell me the rest tommorow at breakfast."

I quickly washed off my tray and dried it. Me and Mary walked back to the chamber. Most of the girls were changing into white nightgowns. They were also grabbing blankets and pillows.

"I have to go and put on my nightgown. Good Night.," Mary said. She walked over to some cubbies that had one more nightgown. Me and Anna didn't have a night gown so we stood there awkwardly.

"Anna! Elsa!," Lady Victoria called out. She was holding two nightgowns. "These are your nightgowns. Anna, yours might be a little big. Tomorrow I will get you a smaller one if it is neccesarry."

"Thank you.," me and Anna said together. We curtsied as she left. Before she left she called out to the rest of the girls. "Good night!,"

"Good night Lady Victoria!," the girls called out.

I slipped out of my servants clothes and put on the nightgown. I saw Anna and I couldn't help but laugh. She looked like a marshmallow.

"Hey!," she laughed. "At least its warm!"

"Well, we have to go to sleep now. Say your prayers Anna!" I replied. I laid down in the blankets and Anna layed down next to me.

Lydia got up to blow the candles.

"Thank you lord that I am alive. Amen" I whispered.

"Amen" Anna softly said.

She cuddled with me and instantly fell asleep. I gently pushed her away and fell into a deep sleep.
