Lesley's POV:
The way he kissed me told me a lot about how he felt as well, and i understood him. He was known as the cold blooded assassin just because he was ruthless to enemies. But he had to be so in order to protect the rest of us and that feeling was very comforting. He cared about each member in the group very dearly whether he showed it or not and he was loud and commanding just so that he doesn't lose anyone.
He was cheated on so he doesn't trust people easily and he's been through so much that he's become a pessimistic person with extreme anger issues but i could sense him changing. The Gusion from the first day i'd known was a completely different person and i am the only fortunate one to see this side to him.
Everything about him made me feel safe. He was defending me the most and i knew from when he saved my life, that he would definitely sacrifice himself for us and although i don't want that to happen at all, i can't help but see that soft side of him that doesn't want me to hate him. He wanted the world to shackle before his feet but he wanted me and the team to be beside him. He wasn't heartless at all, he was just afraid, like all of us and thus acts out in a raging manner but he underneath that shallow exterior, i can see someone different, someone very lovable and understanding and caring.
'BOSS EMERGENCY! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!' Johnson yelled from somewhere and he immediately broke the kiss and left the room.
'EVERYONE GET YOUR WEAPONS AND REACH THE GROUND OF THE CASTLE WITHIN 5 MINUTES! NOW!' He yelled and i went to my room to get my sniper as well.
This was a dangerous situation and i knew my role well, we had been training everyday and i were to stick close to the tank at all times. I and Kimmy were assigned to Johnson and Gatot respectively supported by Badang and Ling. Leo, Gusion, Claude and Chou would do the disposal. Overall a very good plan and we knew it could work well.
Holding out my sniper, I go down the hall to see Johnson waiting for me. Gatot and Kimmy hurry and we go to the battle field. Ling was up in the air, making the enemies visible for us.
'There's not much. 8 people max. I don't think we need to hyper carry. We outnumber them easily. ' Ling came back to us.
They were nearing the jungle and onto the field where we were faced to each other. They didn't seem like people from the black shadows.
'LESLEEEYYYYY!' I could hear a cry coming from the mid of those people.
'Harley?!' I was both shocked and happy at the same time. He came to the front and was nearing me when Gusion took out his blade in alarm.
'He's okay, he's my brother,' I say and he nods confused.
'We came to take you! I formed allies that could help us!' He said hugging me.
'She's not going anywhere little fella!' Kimmy spoke to Harley while he glared at her in anger.
'She's my sister! She will come with me! You people kidnapped and tortured her.' He said spitting fire.
'No we didn't! Except for the kidnapping part..' Leomord tried to explain.
'Who are these people Harley?' I ask.
'So, you're happy here?' He asked and i didn't really know the answer to that but i nodded.
'These people are from my squad. They were here to help me take you from here but i'm not sure what to do anymore. Anyways, I'm Harley everyone nice to meet you. Thank you for keeping my sister safe.' He says and shakes hands with everyone. Everyone complies to his handshake and it turned out normal.
'Umm, come inside and then we can do the introductions. For, you're Lesley's brother and we don't want any harsh feelings amongst ourselves.' Gusion said being civil.
The living room was crowded with a lot of people. We were seated in the sofas while we introduced. Gusion stood up.
'I'm the leader. You can call me King. I'm an assassin.' He spoke.
'I'm Zilong. Leader of the squad. This is Aurora, Lapulapu, Yi Sun Shin, Freya, Miya , Ruby and Harley of course. We came here to get Lesley because we were told she was under a threat but she seems to be doing well, i apologize for the misunderstanding.' He said and looked apologetic.
'Uh, it's a long story but I'm okay.' I say and sigh.
They all seemed to be getting along really well. Harley and Gusion talked and although he wasn't smiling, he had a very soft look on his face. Ling and Ruby too hit it off right away and they were chatting and enjoying. Gatot specially liked Aurora and were talking about their hair while Freya, Miya, Leomord and Badang were in a corner laughing their assess off. Johnson, Yu Sun Shin and Kimmy started talking about robots and all that boring stuffs. The house was filled with laughter and it seemed everyone was talking to everyone.
'So, you will come with me right?' Harley asks me and i receive a look from Gusion.
'I, not now Harley.'
'She's with us to help find someone. ' Gusion said looking intently at me.
'Yeah and i will stay until we find Granger.'
'Can i join then?' Harley suddenly asks and that surprised everyone else.
'Sure, if that's what you want.' Gusion said nodding happily.
'If there are more rooms here, which i bet there is considering how huge this castle is, we'd like to help you guys out too. Granger is at the Moniyan Empire, so is Alucard. We should go together. We need help to get Alucard as well and he too is in the Moniyan Empire. ' Aurora said and Gusion again happily agreed.
'Of course, there are plenty of rooms here and i would be very happy if you all stayed.' He said and i noticed him smiling again, that beautiful rare smile and everybody noticed it as well.
'You're a very handsome fellow when you smile you know?' Ruby said. HOW DARE YOU?
'Yeah he is isn't he. He smiles the most when he's with me.' I say and when i realized what i said, i could see my team members giggling, Gusion surprised and Harley with a very suspicious look.
