Gusion's POV:
I looked at her and I saw her scared for me. She was so concerned about me, she looked very genuinely worried and i couldn't help myself feel like she was the one for me. For weeks now, i'd seen her care for me, helping me stand, cooking food for me, reading out stories, choosing my outfit for me and it all must have added to the reason why i kissed her.
I didn't know how she felt about me either but I took the chance. There was something so obviously special about her that i couldn't decline her at all. The way her eyes shined whenever she talked about something she liked, her behavior towards all of us and just about anything at all about her made me feel so happy whenever i was with her.
I kissed her slowly, testing the waters to see if she'd kiss me back. If she didn't, I'd stop. She was obviously very shocked at the kiss in the beginning but soon enough, she kissed me back. And that was the moment i deepened the kiss, my left hand slipping around her waist and my right hand fixed on her cheeks because i didn't want to let go. It was the sweetest, the most beautiful and phenomenal feeling ever. She broke the kiss, gasping for air and i took that moment to hug her. She hugged me back and we stayed there for around 2 minutes until Johnson's car crashed somewhere near us and we died in embarrassment as the others cheerily laughed at us.
Clearly the man crashed because he couldn't stop giggling...Badang and Chou were having the time of their lives, making jokes and laughing at me, while Claude just smirked. Leomord and Hanzo were on the grass, crying out of laughter, holding their sides while Kimmy looked at me in approval. Like a highschool girl. I was so embarrassed, I went out of the jungle on my own, left her behind and after a distance, ran towards the castle and onto my room. My heart was beating like crazy and i didn't know if it was the kiss or the running away in such huge embarrassment.
I took a shower and went down to the living room drinking hot coffee. And suddenly, i heard the door knocking. Nobody knocks here so what is this? It surely couldn't have been my allies so whoever this was could be a potential threat. With two blades in my hand, i opened the door.
Then, the most unexpected thing happened. She was here. She looked at me with beaded eyes and invited herself in while i was still shocked, holding the door.
'Who is it?' Gatot came out from the kitchen and his eyes were shocked with anger. He then looked at me and nodded and led her to the living room.
'Long time no see. Must have been difficult coming from home?' He asked, coldly.
'I'm no child Gatot, i know what you're asking. Why i'm here?' She spoke, her voice mellow and quiet as always. She looked good, in her usual fashionable clothes and a very good hairdo.
I sat in the sofa, near Gatot and we were faced opposite to her.
'I've missed you all. That's why I'm here. And if you'll have me, I want to rejoin the squad.' She says, looking at me, hoping to get my permission.
'I've grown a lot. Specially with Magic. You'll be impressed with my new ability and skin Gusion.I'm a mythic too now so I qualify to be in your squad.' She said not blinking away from me.
Lesley's POV:
Johnson upgraded his car and made an extra room for all of us and we drove back home. Kimmy wouldn't shut up about the kiss at all and Ling made it extra obvious that i looked happy.
'Look at her red cheeks!' He laughed and they all teased me about it. Leomord and Hanzo never talked much but this time were asking me all sorts of questions and teasing me to death.
We reached the gate and I opened it for Johnson to get inside. He parked away and everyone got out. Ling and I were discussing about how i didn't tell him about my feelings when i was his 'almost best friend.'
'I didn't know myself. And besides, it was weird you know? Like, i don't know what happened but it just happened,' I try explaining but he was too busy teasing me. They all were smiling and giggling until Leomord opened the door and he and Hanzo went just a bit in. Then followed dead silence. I looked over at Ling who too, looked very dangerously angry and i didn't know why. I took a step forward and looked inside to see Gusion, Gatot and... the girl from the picture.
'Guinevere.'
