Gusion's POV:
A month passed, a month of pure misery, coldness and just tiresome days. Nothing felt good anymore and I was dying to see her.
'Boss, let's go now.' Ling said and we headed to complete the plan.
Distracting Eudora was easy if you complimented her, then she'd be flirting along which Leomord was pretty enjoying too.
I went to the floor and started searching. The outside area was heavily guarded but the inside area was not at all guarded. Most of the rooms were empty. There came no firecracker and it had already been an hour since everyone was searching for Granger and Alucard. It was weird how nobody found them. I went inside a hall that was completely empty but had a grand piano table for two and a huge office desk. Just as i was about to touch it, giggling noise came from outside the door and i quickly hid behind the piano and crawled onto a side desk nearby. Shit, was i gonna get caught?
There entered a woman, middle-aged, streaks of grey hair, cigarette in her hand with who must have been her friend. They were dressed in a very fashionable way, with glitters and all that. They sat in the table and started gossiping.
'So what do we go about the boy? He's got no useful information and although we have kept him under a lot of torture, he seems to say nothing.' One of them said.
'Granger? I don't think he knows then. Had he known anything, he would've said when Eudora used her ulti on him, trust me, that shit is ugly. He didn't wake up for 5 days.'
'What about the other one? Alucard? I heard he knows about where the prince is located but he doesn't say anything either.'
'We don't have enough time to make them speak now. We've already seized the castle all together but we won't be hidden for long now. We need to know about the whereabouts of Prince Harith. Also what should we do about that girl who we kidnapped? She knows nothing and is continuously weeping day by day.'
'Yeah and we have to kill him immediately too. No more party and drugs from today. We need to be on point. Although i kinda pity him. His own father, the king wants him dead, that's such a pity. We should kill her, for she knows too much. If we let her go, then she might yell it out to the public and they might know we've taken over the castle.'
'Well that's why he left for 'hunting' and never came back so that we would kill the Prince but he escaped. Small although he is, he is very smart. We need to find him. '
I heard all sorts of things and I couldn't believe it. The King itself wanted Johnson to find Granger to help him find Harith. But he already has Granger in his possession.. why would he do that? It's so confusing. The King looked really worried about Harith's disappearance. Then why did he act? Just so that we could hand him over and he could kill him?
'It's time to go back there and talk to that Granger. Let's go.' One of the woman said and the other followed. They know where Granger is, so I should follow them. I should notify a backup too.
I quietly requested for backup and Ling slowly came up from behind and I nodded.
'Call for Badang and Ruby. We need them.' I slowly mouthed and Ling flew away, requesting backups.
I followed them up the room and onto the attic. The attic had a huge book rack and when a yellow book was taken off, the shelf moved, no wonder why Ling didn't know they were hidden there. They shut the door behind and I stealthily walked towards the shelf. If i wanted to, i would have gone inside but i didn't know how many people were inside and if there were guards, so i waited for them to get out. I could hear yelling from those woman, screaming at people.
'WHERE IS HARITH??!'
'SPEAK OR I WILL KILL YOU!'
After around 10 minutes of yelling, they walked out of the hidden place. I was crammed beside a box and ling was floating mid air, trying to hide. The women took no notice of Ling although that moron nearly got us exposed.
'They're coming. Ruby will recognize Alucard and we can get them out of-' He paused mid-sentence as we heard the women coming back.
'I swear i heard someone talking from here!' She said and came inside the room again. We both were hidden and this time i was inside the box, hidden with the white sheets. Ling was floating behind the grandfather clock.
'There's nobody here, you're getting old!' the other scolded her and she whispered a quick maybe and went away again. This time we waited five minutes after they were gone.
'Where is Granger?!' Ling whispered.
'In there. I have to move the yellow book to get to the hidden room. You stay behind the door incase they come.' I say and he went inside the room while i opened the room with the yellow book.
I saw it. There he was, chained up the wall, looking starved and all bloodied up. His face was barely recognizable with a busted lip and a broken leg that too had chain in them. In another corner was a guy- he must be Alucard. He too was in a very rough shape. Then i saw the most unexpected person there.. Guinevere.
I had asked her to leave after Lesley left and i thought she had gone home but she was trapped here for a month. Her hair looked as if someone had strangled her with it and she looked desperate.
I popped the fire cracker to the sky and almost immediately, i could hear Johnson's engine. Aurora came up by seeing our map and immediately and helped us take the chains off.
I don't know how but we got those two outside and into Johnson's car where everyone else was also there.
'Get in Boss!' Johnson said but i couldn't leave Guinevere inside.
'Guin is inside and i will use my arrival to send her to our castle.' I say and i see the two women coming with backup.
'What are you saying! ARRIVAL'S NERFED AND IT WORKS FOR ONE ONLY! THAT'S WHY WE HAVE JOHNSON UPGRADED! GET IN THE CAR!' Aurora yelled but I ran upstairs.
I would send her to the castle. She's been through enough already.
I ran as fast as i could, even using my ultimate and making sure the arrival worked. And it did, but there was just one problem now.
'Well well, who do we have here.' I turned the other way to see I was outnumbered. There were more than 10 people there and i knew i couldn't escape this.
