"Died?.." Lalisa whispered, letting go of Jungkook and sitting on the floor, looking down. She felt his stare on her but ignored it.
"SHE DIED?!" she screamed, eyes filled with rage and fury. Jungkook sighed and nodded.
"She died in the experiment," he answered. Tears filled her eyes as she began to cry in Chaeyoung's arms.

Jungkook's eyes softened at her but instantly hardened. He sighed, holding a clipboard.
"Lalisa, you're up," he said, grabbing her arm and leading her out of the room. She squirmed in his hold and bit his arm, causing him to jump.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! You animal!" He shouted in her face, Lalisa being completely unfazed. She looked down and wiped her tears.

A Few Hours Later

A woman who was slightly taller than Jisoo entered the room, adjusting her glasses and staring at all the people in the room.
"The results have come in," she began, staring at Lalisa and Chaeyoung cuddling in the corner.
The woman sighed.
"First of all, my name is Kim Jennie and I will be looking after the few people that have been chosen," Jennie said. Lalisa scoffed and rolled her eyes to which Jennie ignored.

"Alright, if I say your name, follow me," she demanded, scanning over everyone in the room who nodded.
"Park Chaeyoung,"
"Lalisa Manoban,"
"Kim Jisoo-"
"Jisoo is dead." Lalisa deadpanned, glaring at Jennie who looked confused.

"Miss Manoban, last time I checked, she was alive."
"No, she died in the experiment."
"Kim Jisoo was only fatally hurt, she's recovering in the infirmary right now," Jennie replied. Lalisa looked over to Chaeyoung in surprise, who returned the look.
"Anyways, you three have been chosen out of the seven. You four stay here and I'll sneak some food in soon." she smiled.

She shut the door and nodded to both the girls who followed her down the hall.
"Why are we here?" Chaeyoung asked, squeezing Lalisa's hand nervously. Jennie dug her hand in her pocket and fumbled with the keys, shoving it into the lock of the white door that stood in front of them.
"Just follow me, okay?" she said, opening the door and switching on the lights. The girls walked in, uneasy when Jennie locked the door and grabbed her laptop.

"Sit down, please," she said, holding out her hand to the two vacant seats in front of her. She placed the laptop on her lap and sighed, smiling after.
"Don't worry, the room is soundproof and I've disabled all of the cameras in here, so you're free to talk," Jennie reassured the two girls in front of her.
"Okay, let's start shall we?"

"This may not be a surprise, but Jungkook never had good intentions. Anyways, let's get straight to the point."
"I'm going to sneak you out." she finished bluntly. Staring at the two shocked girls, she let out a small smile.
"A few men will be helping you, but Jungkook obviously will not know, for... reasons."
"But why?" Chaeyoung asked quietly, still clutching onto Lalisa as if her life depended on it. Jennie sighed.

"A few days ago, before the testing. Jungkook never liked Kim Jisoo, at all. They always had a... history. And he supposedly botched her testing so it could go wrong. He'd tested like this on many subjects, who all died. But she didn't. I assume saying that she was dead was before he even got the results. So he had a reason to lock Lalisa up." Jennie explained. The girls looked at each other, worried yet excited.
"What about Jisoo?" Lalisa asked, squeezing Chaeyoung's hand.

"She's fine, recovering quite quickly."
"Is she hurt?"
"In terms of appearance, yes. Mentally or physically, not at all. Perfectly healthy."
"How will we be treated? Of these sins?" they asked in unison. Jennie's eyes widened and she frowned.
"I know a few friends up in Taiwan. Nine, to be more specific," she said, the two girls nodded, signalling her to continue.

"They're all doctors and three of them work with medications, paracetamol and more of the crazy stuff." Jennie finished.
"So when are we going?" Chaeyoung asked, Jennie, thought for a while before answering.
"When Jisoo makes a full recovery, which won't be very long. Now don't tell anyone except Jisoo, alright?" she checks, the two girls nod and walk out of the room into the padded one, squealing.

Jennie sighed and smiled at the sight of the girls, a voice behind, startling her.

"I never expected this, Kim Jennie."
