Jade wakes up in Andrew's room and finds she is alone. She tentatively gets up and goes out into the hall. There she finds Daniel asleep on the floor leaning against the wall.
She lightly shakes his shoulder in an attempt to wake him up. He murmurs for five more minutes, thinking she is Andrew.

"Would you like a more comfortable place to sleep?" She politely asks.

"Oh, sorry. I thought you were someone else. So you must be the human." Daniel smiles.

"Would you mind being my guard to the first floor of this magnificent edifice?" Jade says all fancy. Jade offers her hand, Daniel kisses it, and they go down to the first floor together. Jade heads to the restaurant's bar, and as she sits, she remembers that she left her purse upstairs.

"That's alright, I'll get it for the lovely maiden of fire." He winks.

She blushes. "No one has referred to me by my hair color before..." She thinks.

When he comes back with her purse, she gets up and gives him a kiss on the lips.

"Daniel!" Andrew exclaims. He practically walks up to them and pushes them apart.

"Why are you mad it's not like I'm yours. If I want to kiss the guy, I can kiss him! You have no control over what I do." She scolds him.

"Let's see if you survive tonight... You only survived because of me and Daniel standing guard over you during the night." He glares at her and walks away.

"Sure, whatever. As if I wasn't trained to kill things that aren't necessarily human." She comments to herself. She turns to Daniel.
"I can handle myself, you know. I have a self designed dagger that can kill pretty much anything." She pulls out the electrum, silver, and iron dagger. His eyes widen at the sight. "I also know vampires exist among other things. I know this because I have seen and fought demons my entire life." Jade explains.
She pulls out her breakfast items and starts chowing down once she puts her dagger back in its sheath.

"Whut makes you think we're vampires?" Daniel asks.

"Well, you're pale, cold, thin, and you sleep past the high morning hours." Jade states. Daniel looks away. " I'm tired. I'm going to take a nap." Jade finishes her breakfast and puts the rest of her food back.

"I'll come with you." Daniel says. He escorts her to his room instead of Andrew's room.

"I'm guessing this is your room and not Andrew's." She notices. "That's fine, and it makes sense that you would bring me here."

She opens the door and gently lays on the bed. She puts all of her hair on one side of her neck and exposes her vein to him. "Wanna bite? I trust you not to kill me."

"Why do you trust me?" Daniel's brow furrows.

"Because you had the chance to bite me the whole time, and you didn't. You're very kind too. I would trust Andrew, but my gut tells me that I shouldn't." Jade explains.

Daniel sits on the bed next to her and stares at her neck for a second. "Are you sure about this?"

"Yes, take a bite." She leans on him. Daniel can't hold back any longer and takes a bite. He moans from the pleasure and feels like he is high. He stops after a minute because it's like a drink from heaven. He can only withstand so much ambrosia. She covers her neck with her hair and falls asleep, trusting him not to take another bite. He doesn't.

Jade wakes up in Daniel's arms and checks the time. It's 6:05 pm. She jumps out of bed, which lightly wakes up Daniel, and runs down the nine flights of stairs. She gets downstairs on the main level eight minutes later. She runs straight to the window and sees Richard waiting in his car.

Richard gets out of the car and has a bag of Taco Bell. As he gets on the porch and walks up to the window, he looks slightly surprised.

"How are you still alive?" He growls. Luckily, her hair covers Daniel's bite.

"Honey, I've been stabbed, bombed, and shot, and I still got all my limbs and phalanges. I'm fucking fortified!" She scoffs.

Richard grabs her by the collar of her shirt. She grabs his hair and bangs his head on the top of the window frame. He yells and lets go of her. He then swings at her but she catches his fist and twists it around his back. He curses and tries to release himself from the hold. He fails and Jade flings him away from her and he stumbles to the edge of the porch and almost falls off.

"Bitch... They'll kill you soon." Richard spits.

Jade rolls her eyes and walks to the bar and starts eating. Not long into her third taco, someone grabs her by the back of her collar and throws her into a table. Diego pounces on top of her baring his fangs.

"Hola Bonita." He says. In the ballroom, Daniel falls six stories and crashes to the floor. She pushes Diego off and he crashes into the bar. He growls and uses his speed to run up to her and fling her against the opposite wall. She gasps as the air is knocked out of her lungs. Diego pins her to the wall and hisses. Jade spits in his face and he recoils but doesn't let go of her throat. After the initial response he tightens his grip and Jade's eyes go wide and she pushes at his face trying to get him off her. After a a few seconds of failing in that respect she remembers that she has her dagger and pepper spray. She reaches for the snake venom and pepper spray first and sprays it in his face. He screams and drops her to rub the spray even deeper into his eyes and skin. She grabs her dagger immediately after she drops, and stabs Diego in the leg. He slaps her and she goes reeling. He tries to take the dagger out of his thigh, but due to the carvings of religious symbols on the handle, he screams again. His shakes his hand in attempt to cool down the burn. Which of course fails. She grabs the dagger and attempts to slice at his face but he disarms her. He tackles her and pins her to the floor with her hands above her head.

Just as he is about to take a bite Andrew comes to the rescue by yelling out: "Diego! That's enough!"

Diego unpins Jade. And grumbles something under his breath. Jade gets up and walks halfway to Andrew before she collapses, passed out on the ground.
