Chapter 7: Family

Von's POV

I run back to the pack house fast. Cori and both Eric's were still outside. "Cori! Eric!"

They turn when they hear me yelling there names. Cori whispers something into little Eric's ear. He nods and runs inside as I reach them. "Cerri is gone."

Cori started to shake a bit. "N..No she's to strong to be taken so easily."

I clench my hands into tight fists. "They must have used a dirty trick."

My wolf was growling so loud that I couldn't hear what Cori said next. "What?"

She looks at me worried. "If we don't find her soon, the war will start and all hell will break lose."

I give a frustrated sigh as I lean against the pack house then slide to the ground. "If we don't find her. I'll wont be able to fight without her popping into my head."

We have a week and a couple of days till the war. If she's not found till then, I don't know if I'll be ready to fight. "Both of you go tell to others and in a little bit we will have a few search parties."

They both nod as I walk into the pack house. Walking up the stairs to Cerri's office I found Eric sitting in her seat. He looked so sad without her here. I walk over and pick him up. He wraps his arms around my neck as he starts to cry.

I rub his back as I share the same sadness as him. When an hour passes I sigh and set him down on her bed and half smile. "Stay here, okay? I'll being mommy back."

He sniffs and wipes his face with his sleeve. "Otay."

I smile as he lays down on the bed and starts to nod off. When I know he's a sleep I head down stairs. Everyone stands there ready to search. "Split up into 4 teams and head out."

Cerri's POV

My head is throbbing. I open my eyes to see I'm in a cage. The only light near by was from a candle. I move to the edge of the cage to only be pulled back by chains. My eyes try to focus to see where the chains connected to the wall.

Looks like they go through the wall. I get close to the wall and lean against it. This must be a dream. I'm still back home in bed with Eric and Von next to me. Foot steps start to approach my little cage. Light starts to shine into my cage blinding me.

I cover my eyes cause the light hurt. "She's awake finally."

The cage door clicks making me peek from behind my hands. A man with dark brown hair and yellow eyes approaches me. I growl making him stop in his steps. "Don't touch me."

Seems the guy didn't understand. He approaches more. I leap at him but miss him by a few inches. He falls backwards. "Shit, you didn't say she was crazy."

Another guy laugh from outside of the cage. "She's the daughter of our ex-alpha. Why would you think other wise?"

The guy looks at me carefully. "Cause she has a engagement ring."

I guess the other guy didn't know that as he walks close enough for me to see him. Red hair and brown eyes. I growl at them both. "WHERE IS VON?"

They look at each other cause of my out burst. I pull on the chain harder. One of the guys grabs me my hand to look at the ring more. "This is an alpha engagement ring. Shit we took an alpha's mate."

I growl and pull my hand away. "I am a alpha."

They look at each other then walk out. What was that? After a few minutes the guys came back with another guy, a bit older then them. "She's a alpha and a alpha's mate."
