A modern building of white and black loomed above me. The International School for Exceptional Young Adults, or I.S.E.Y.A., was trimmed with neatly clipped greenery and bright pink and purple flowers. The air was cool and refreshing. I took in a breath and smile brightly. Today was the start of my new life. No more parents bossing me around, no more important responsibilities and duties, I was finally a free man. I loved my country, but it just gets so boring after a while. Here, I can blissfully make new friends who don't hold onto expectations based on my family, and I might find my soulmates!

I glanced around at my fellow students. Conversation buzzed around me, and people swarmed around me going in every direction. This would take some getting used to. "Hi! Is it your first day, too?! This is so exciting!" A chipper voice said behind me.  I turned around to see a smiling boy behind me. He had the cutest round glasses, adorable freckles, and his smile was brighter than the sun. I smiled back at him. Judging from his accent, he was from America, but not from around here.

"¡Tú eres muy lindo!" I said, flashing a charming smile, "Cómo te llamas?" The cute boy stared at me blankly, tilting his head. "I'm sorry. When I get distracted by a pretty face, I can't help but speak in my native language. What is your name?" Pink dusted the boy's freckled cheeks.

"My name is Patton Hart! It's a pleasure to meet you! Are you from Mexico?!" He said excitedly, smiling the whole time. My heart beat faster, and I tried answering his question.

"No, I-"

"Venezuela?!"

"No, not Venezuela. I-"

"I've got it! Panama!"

"I am from Spain, dearest Patton." I smiled; his excitement was endearing.

"That's so cool! What is your name?" He smiled up at me. I must have been a full foot taller than him. I bowed dramatically and took his hand, pressing a kiss to the back.

"Roman Rey, at your service, cariño." His eyes lit up, flashing like lightning. Their color was exquisite; the purest of blue skies unmarred by clouds. I could get lost in them easily.

"You're name is Roman! That's amazing!" He said loudly, tugging down the collar of his shirt. "One of my soulmates is named Roman! Oh, I sure hope it is you!" I smiled brighter.

"I think I am your prince charming," I announced dramatically. I turned away from him, allowing him to see behind my right ear. "I have your name as well, Patton." He touched his name-his fingers as gentle as a summer's breeze-and squealed with excitement and happiness.

"You're the first one I have found! And you are so charming and handsome!" He hugged me tightly. I giggled and hugged him back. Today could not have gone better.
