(Patton)

"Patton! Pat! Patton!" I could hear someone calling my name. Turning around, I gasped happily.

"Virgil! It's wonderful to see you in person! Come here! I wanna hug you!" He smiled and ran over. I hugged him tightly. Even if I was small for my age, Virgil was even smaller. I picked him up off the ground and spun him. He giggled, and I set him down.

"Jeez, Pat, you are way stronger than you looked over the internet," he said. He looked at Roman, then looked him over. A smirk formed on his lips. "Well, hello there, handsome~ You're smokin' hot." Roman instantly turned bright red and started sputtering. I giggled, and Virgil laughed.

"Virge, this is Roman! He's one of my soulmates!" I said, smiling happily, "He's from Spain!" Virgil looked impressed. He looked Roman over again, squinting a bit this time.

"Spain? Come to think of it, you look familiar..." Virgil hummed.

"No, I don't. I've never met you," Roman answered quickly. Virgil frowned a bit.

"Fine. You best treat my friend well... or else," Virgil threatened. Roman held up his hands, smiling.

"I intend to." He placed a hand on his heart and raised his other hand.  "Mis cariños son todos para mi corazón. No necesitas más que ellos. My loves are all for my heart. I do not need more than them," Roman declared, smiling more. "Pero... Patton is only a friend for you?" Virgil frowned a bit and shifted nervously.

"Um... I mean, yeah. Why do you ask?" Virgil said quietly. I watched them, frowning a bit. He was beginning to worry me, so I put my hand on his shoulder gently.

"Well, I have your name on my left wrist, and from what Patton is telling me, he has your name as well," Roman said gently. Virgil shifted uncomfortably. He looked down and bit his lip.

"Um... well..." Virgil was starting to stutter. I stepped in.

"It's okay, Virgil. You don't have to tell us who you have. We will always be friends!"

"Pat, I do have your name. I have Roman's, too. And three others. Like you. I just... was worried you wouldn't want to actually date me," he mumbled, looking up at me shyly. I gasped.

"Virgil! You are my best friend! I will love you and care for you and give you all the attention you want! Of course, I want to date you!" I hugged him tightly again, kissing his cheek. He blushed and hugged me back, smiling a bit. Roman joined in and hugged both of us in his strong arms. I smiled happily and snuggled. That's when my eye was caught by my name. My eyes followed my name, written in pure black child's handwriting on the high cheekbones of a handsome young man. He walked with such purpose across the courtyard, carrying himself with importance and power. Sharp black frames nearly obscured my name and almost hid eyes so full of color I could tell they were blue from this distance. I breathed a drawn-out inhale. Virgil glanced at me and looked over. He saw him and hummed.

"Wow, this school is full of hot men~" Virgil purred. "HEY! HOT DUDE WITH THE GLASSES AND TIE!" I watched as the man turned a tomato red and slowly turned to face us. Virgil was a shameless flirt until it came to actually falling in love. The man, still red, looked directly at Virgil and raised an eyebrow. That's when Roman chimed in.

"¡Hombre caliente! ¡Viene aquí!" I was about to scold Roman for speaking in Spanish again when I noticed that the man had started to walk towards us. From up close, he was even more gorgeous. His hair had looked black, but it wasn't; it was a very dark brown that complemented his pale skin nicely. I blushed a bit when I realized I was checking him out and looked away quickly.

He looked directly at Roman and spoke. "Silencio. No soy homosexual." Roman frowned and looked at him.

"Entonces,¿ por qué tienes el nombre de un hombre en su mejilla?" Roman asked. The man quickly covered my name.

"No es el nombre de un hombre. Es el nombre de una mujer, muchas gracias." He spoke firmly and anger started to fill his eyes. I looked at his eyes more and tilted my head. No, that wasn't anger. It was fear. Roman laughed.

"You, sir, are hilarious. Patton is not a girl's name. It's this fine young man here's name," Roman said, kissing my cheek. I giggled happily.

"It's nice to meet another one of my soulmates! My name is Patton, but you already knew that!" I offered my hand. He glared at me. His voice changed. It sounded dangerous and cold when he spoke to me.

"You are not my soulmate. I am not homosexual. I could never love a man, especially not a boy like you." He turned and and walked away. My eyes widened, and I could tell I was close to tears.
