Being quarantined at Mr. Starks cabin could be amazing.

Peter loved spending time with Morgan, so that was definitely a plus. The little bundle of sass and sunshine that was Morgan always made his day better. That little part of him still felt awed by the fact that Morgan saw him and her older brother, there to take care of her and protect her from the bad guys. May also loved being around the little girl, spending a good chunk of time with her when she wasn't at her job.

Being quarantined at Mr. Starks cabin could also be hell.

Doctor Strange could be gone for weeks at a time, away on dimensional travel and doing the things that couldn't be put on pause for a pandemic. It worried Mr. Stark to no end, though that was nothing new. The man always fussed over Stephens safety, (all of their safety really) but especially when the doctor went where he couldn't follow.

But by far the worst thing about being quarantined at Mr. Starks cabin?

Online school.

—————

The only reason Peter wasn't slamming his head into his desk at the present moment, was because his camera had to be on so his teacher knew he was there. Everyone's mics, however, stayed muted unless they were asked a question.

This proved to be annoying since no one knew how to knock.

Was it that hard??

So when a certain Tony Stark walked into his room in the middle of class, Peter almost slammed his laptop into his wall in his hurry to move his camera away.

"Mr. Stark!" He yelped.

"Woah!" Tony said, putting both hands up, "don't break your laptop kid, that thing is state of the art."

Peter felt his face heat up and he glanced over at his computer.

"I just wanted to tell you Steph just got back, so you might wanna hurry this up before little miss starts hogging him all to herself."

Peter felt some tension leave his shoulders and he nodded, "I'll be done in 10 minutes."

—————

"Hey, Pete-"

Without thinking, Peter shut his laptop quickly. A few long seconds pass before Peter laughs quietly to himself. "That seriously just made it seem like I was watching porn."

He spun around in his chair and came face to face with Stephen, who had an amused smile on his face. "That it did." He looked at the now closed laptop then back at Peter, "how much trouble are you going to get in for bailing out of class?"

Peter cringed, "I'm trying not to think about it."

Stephen ducked his head down and his frame shook with silent laughter, "dinners ready, c'mon. I'll have Tony send a message to your teacher."

—————

The next time someone walks into his room, it's actually a bit unexpected.

He's in the middle of one of his later classes when quiet knocking comes from his door.

After double checking that he's muted he calls out a hesitant "come in."

What surprises him is that Morgan is at the door. But there a tear tracks down her face and Peter is instantly worried. He quickly turns off his camera, not caring that he'll likely get in trouble.

"Mo," he says softly. "C'mere, what's wrong?"

The little girl throws herself into his arms and buries her head into his shoulder.

While Peter is preoccupied, he doesn't seem to notice (or care) that his teacher called his name and was now unmuting his mic.

"I-I had a nightmare." Morgan cries, her voice painfully quiet.

Peter feels his heart break and little and her runs a soothing hand down her back. "Do you wanna talk about it?"

The chat room on Peters zoom class is blowing up, "did you know Peter had a little sister"s and "who is that"s being asked among student.

When Morgan doesn't answer Peter decided to try something else. "Do you wanna go to Mr. Stark and Dr. Strange? They always help me when I get scared or upset.

Morgan is quite for a moment before nodding, a shaky "yes please." Escaping her lips. She looks back up at Peter before asking "will you come with me?"

Peter smiles at her, a little sad. "Of course Mo, I won't ever leave you, okay?"

Without looking at his screen, Peter shuts his computer a leaves his room.

He'll deal with everything later, he's gotta be a big brother right now.
