Greenland agrees to become Antarctica's friend/helper to keep the continent's climate-changing powers under control. Greenland will find that friendship can be found in the strangest of places, especially the ones that last.

Greenland stepped off the boat to Antarctica, he had never thought in all his life he would be this far from his own country, but he really had no choice. Sighing, he took his first step in what would be his home for the next week.

"Now on to the next topic of today," UN announced, "U.S., you may speak"
America immediately stood up, holding a few papers.
"As we continue our studies in the Antarctic, we have noticed that Antarctica is in need of a 'helper' you could say" He announced
Greenland's then non-existent attention had now been caught. Not ever in his life had he heard such a thing in these kinds of meetings, most of the time countries would be talking about border laws and newly assigned tariffs, things that never involved him, sometimes he questioned why he had to come.
"Antarctica, we believe, needs someone to spend time with. He has been isolated from much of the rest of the world, he cannot even make it to this meeting because of the temperature change." U.S. continued, " but we were able to get a prerecorded video of-"
A light lit up, it was the light that meant a country wanted to interject, that country was China.
"Excuse me, I don't mean to disturb-"
"Well you already did, but please, continue" U.S. interrupted.
There was a pause, the two just glared at each other.
"Well like I said, I don't mean to disturb, but why is the loneliness of this one country is of such high priority to be brought up in a meeting, don't we have more important matters to be talking about?" China finished, clearly annoyed.
Everyone waited, looking at America for his reaction.
"Well, China, if you would have let me finish I would have told you that Antarctica is different from us, his emotional state can affect the land he represents. So, if Antarctica is upset he can cause some lasting harm to the land, and whoever is unlucky enough to be on that land." America replied, extremely annoyed.
Greenland was thoroughly interested in this Antarctica guy.
He has, powers?
"Now, as I was saying, we had Antarctica pre-record an introduction so that he could properly introduce himself to us." U.S. finished, as a projector was slowly pulled down.
The lights dimmed, and a video played of Antarctica, his flag was blue and had a picture of the land.
"Erm is this working? Jeez, why didn't they tell me how to work this."
The video started with Antarctica fiddling with the camera.
"Oh! Okay, the light is on! Let's hope that means it working." Antarctica said as he rolled a white desk chair into the frame.
