Warning: Angst

______

Today was Saturday, most kids love Saturdays because there's no school and you can do whatever you want. You hated Saturdays, why you may ask? You hated Saturdays because that was when you had adoption interviews.

It was time to meet the first family, Mr., and Mrs. Rushall. "So how long have you been an orphan little one?" Mr. Rushall said. "I've been here my whole life, I was only a few months old when my parents left me at the front door here," You reply. "That's so sad." Mrs. Rushall said in a soft tone. It was quit for a while until Mrs. Rushall broke the silence. "Do you have any hobbies Y/N?" "Well... I like acting and alchemy," You continue, "When I grow up I want to be an actress or a scientist," you exclaim.

Mr. Rushall and Mrs. Rushall could see the look in your eyes, they were able to tell that you were telling the truth. "Look Y/N..." Mrs. Rushall started to say, "We think you're a great kid, with great intentions but..." Before she could finish Mr. Rushall interrupted her. "We can't have a kid who has dreams that will never come true!" He yells, "You need to get your head out of the clouds!"

With that, you ran to your room and started crying. Mrs. Weeden came in, she heard the whole conversation. "Y/N it's going to be ok," she said. "No, it's not," You start to say, "This is the 51st adoption interview I've had and when I tell them my interests they say the same thing to me, and you know it too!" Mrs. Weeden sighs, "Look Y/N, I know you don't want to but the next family is waiting," she said calmly which made you feel better.

While Mrs. Weeden was taking you to the next family she was thinking about what to do when all the interviews were done. She never told you about your parents because she didn't want you to remember that horrible day. You kept asking so she told a different story, she knew you weren't ready, so she will tell you the truth about your parents when you're older.

_____

You were on your bed crying for the 15th time today that's because you had 15 interviews and the same thing happened in each of them. They said your dreams would never come true, and to get your head out of the clouds, this felt like the 100th time it's happened. Mrs. Weeden would always say that they weren't the right family for you if they didn't support you. You knew that was true but you would always ask yourself the same question, Was any family the right family? You know you only four and you're too young for all of this, but you knew you were meant to be with your birth parents. "I will find out who my real parents are and I will find them one day I promise." You said to your self.

_____

Sorry that it's short. Do you have any guesses about who your birth parents could be?
