Y/N's P.O.V

Varian and I were heading to Corona for the science expo. Varian said that the invention would be a surprise so when he was building it he wouldn't let me look at it. I wanted to know what it was so bad, luckily I would get to find out today.

When we got to Corona I saw Cassandra tieing a banner, "Hi Cassandra!" I yelled. She turned around, "Oh, hi Y/N, I can't talk right now I'm slammed." I was about to speak until a guard came over and whispered something to her. She got excited and climbed down the ladder and left. "Come on let's go."

I noticed that she didn't finish tieing the banner and it was about to fall. I quickly climbed up the ladder and tied it. "Cassandra! Lookin' good! You should see some of the inventions on display!" I turned around and saw Rapunzel coming towards us, I thought she was wearing something that made me look like Cassandra, but she wasn't. When she came up to us she realized that I wasn't Cass. "Oh, hi Varian. Hi, Y/N from far away you looked like Cass." Weird. "I haven't seen you two since-" Eugene cut her off, "Since your last invention almost killed us. So glad you're here. With what looks like another invention."

Varian's P.O.V

"Please, I wouldn't miss a chance to promote the merits of alchemy. And wait until you see my invention. I think, uh, everyone at the expo will be impressed. Do you think Y/N's gonna be impressed? Not that I'm doing this for Y/N! They'll be impressed, right." I was glad that Y/N was still on the ladder or else they would have heard that. Rapunzel had the biggest smile on her face. "You like her! You guys would make the cutest couple!" "Was it that obvious?" "It was very obvious." Eugene replied, "and it's also very obvious that they like you too." What!? Y/N likes me too!? My face was as red as a tomato. "Aw. Your blushing." Rapunzel squealed.

"Who's blushing?" Y/N was right next to me which made me blush even more, I looked away from them so they wouldn't see, "No one." Y/N looked confused, then went back to their original expression, "Well, Varian we should go set up." "Y-yeah that's a good i-idea" Sh*t I keep stuttering.

______

After we finished setting up we had some time to spare. "I'm going to go find Cassandra," Y/N said. "Do you wanna come with." "No thanks, I'm going to go see what Rapunzel's doing." Y/N started walking away. "Ok, bye." While I was trying to find Rapunzel I was thinking about what she said. Was it really that obvious? Was it really easy to tell I liked Y/N? If so how can Y/N miss something so obvious?

When we know something is true beyond question or doubt there's no particular point in pointing it out Blue is the color of sky 'cause mothers all worry and old people die A bell rings, a bee stings It's something you don't need to hear It's just clear

Why go stating the obvious? It's so painfully obvious How could you miss something that's this plain to see? When it's glaring, and staring right at you so obviously If it's that obvious she would notice it right?

When you get bored you draw stars in your journal You still fill out the quizzes you find from some years before. And you dance like nobody's there awkward and perfect you don't even care Something courageous, amazing, contagious, and kind all combined

Why go stating the obvious? It's so painfully obvious How could you miss something that's this plain to see? When it's glaring, and staring right at you so obviously If I make it that obvious, and she liked me back she would say something or make it obvious that she likes me.

Sometimes the words we tend to withhold but they're exactly the words someone needs to be told But oh, thinking they know we never say I love you While I was walking I saw Y/N talking to Cassie, but I was focused on Y/N. I love you I love you I love you
