Destruction

Limb by limb Supreme Leader Kylo Ren ripped through Mustafar leaving no survivors in his path. He spared no time only to look back at the destruction he had caused throughout the inflamed forest. He paced his way to the sealed encasing in the center of it all. Easing his breathing, he pushed the seal open with the force still festering in his finger tips. The seal tumbled to the ground as an ominous smoke circled around the possession he came for. The Way-finder.

Raising it up to the sky, he pondered his eyes along the green minuscule dots inside its triangular shape. His leather gloved gripped the sharp steel edges as he trudged his way through the casualties to reach his tie- fighter.

Kylo hunkered down in his seat, placing the Way-finder inside of the fighters core hooking it to wires that would ultimately feed him coordinates. Curiosity enthused him as he reached for the throttle and started up his fighter. Lifting the levers, he took off into the smoke filled sky; not once looking back at the canvas of bodies he had left. He set out for more power, like any great leader would and he intended to get it. Kylo had underestimated the course ahead of him as he zipped through meteors the size of Command ships. His grip was firm on the levers as the bright green glow from the Way- finder condemned his eyes corner. Bright red flashed against his face as he entered a tunnel of mush. Veins threatened to take out his fighter. But just like his father, he knew how to fly. The fighter dodged the moving veins as it reached an opening, leading him into the atmosphere of an unfamiliar planet.

He looked through the acrylic glass to see a faint blue swarming around him. It looked like it was night time there, yet it was day everywhere else. What better way to greet darkness than with darkness?

He set forward towards the dried up ground. Bolts of lightening struck against the ground everywhere around him. The fighter came to a halting stop and slammed against the hard grounds of Exegol. Kylo managed himself out of the fighter and onto the grounds. It was a dry place, full of ominous energy and power. He wasted no time. Kylo walked powerfully towards the obvious entrance in between two plateaus. Not knowing what to expect, he withdrew his saber. The blades spilled out of the emitters and a bright red crackle lit up the dark ahead of him. As threatening as the scenery was, he exuded confidence and continued forward.

Kylo walked through the seemingly floating walls and reached an octagon shaped platform. He stepped and balanced himself on it. It began to float down as if someone was expecting him. Large statues surrounded him and lightening continued to strike down even from the inside.

"At last." an ominous voice surrounded Kylo. He paced the octagon, trying to track where the voice was coming from. When the platform met with the ground, he kept his saber drawn at his side and walked cautiously through the dark hallways.

"Snoke trained you well." Echoed the voice.

"I killed Snoke," frustration bested Kylo as he followed the voice. He knew he had killed his master. Yet he was still considered inferior. "I'll kill you."

"My boy, I made Snoke," the voice trailed behind him then in front of him, "I have been every voice you have ever heard inside your head."

The voice of his late master Snoke rang clear and then faded into his Grandfather Darth Vader's. The voices should have thrown Kylo off, but he continued forward and shook off the illusion. As he stepped forward, mummified workers picked and prodded at their creations. Kylo had realized how the late Emperor Palpatine came back and exactly where Snoke came from. Darth Sith cloning.

He stepped past the large capsules of unnatural clones, awaiting the next retort.

"The First Order was just the beginning. I will give you so much more." The voice declared. Kylo followed through towards an opening. Turning around the corner, he could hear the voice growing closer.

"You'll die first."

"I have died before," The voice replied. Kylo turned toward the voice in order to snuff it out, "The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural."

The lightening exposed the face of the voice finally. His eyes were pasted over with white and his cloak insidiously hung over his head. He hunched over weakly and his skin was shriveled and ghostly pale. Kylo lunged forward at the sight of him and threatened the tip of his blade two inches away from Palpatines face. Despite his horrifying looks, Kylo had come for one thing.

"What could you give me?" Kylo insisted as his saber lingered in front of Palpatines eyes.

The Emperor paused for a moment as a surge of purpose washed over Kylo.

"My Grand child," A source of opera echoed against the walls instantly. An exceedingly powerful presence filled the air and Kylo stood still, demanding his meaning. "Empress Palpatine, heir of the Sith thrown. Come my child. Meet our guest."

Kylo's eyes shifted to see the figure of a woman making her way towards him. His eyes focused in on her as she grew closer. Her Hair was covered by a dark cloak yet the slight wind blew against brown strands hanging out above her ears. Her lips were a mauve pink and her face was defined by intimidating cheekbones. Her skin was pale and flawless and her eyes glowed through the dark an orange red. Kylo quickly retracted his saber and hitched it at his side. He stood speechless in her presence. She was powerful, he could feel it. He recognized that she was also intimidating yet beautiful.

she approached him and trailed her eyes up his body. The first thing that she noticed was the scar curved across his cheek and down his neck. His hair was jet black and to his shoulders. Galant she thought. He wore an all black tunic that suited his dark honey eyes. She was pleased at the sight of him. But she'd never make him aware.

"Grand father, you asked for me?" Stated the Empress. She turned away from Kylo and looked to Palpatine. Her fingers slipped onto her hood as she pulled it down exposing her dark brown hair tied up into a tight bun.

"It is time to rid this galaxy of it's rebellion. The two of you will train together, fight together, and restore the Emperor his rightful place as ruler of the galaxy. Your powers together are like no other. Together you will bring destruction to the republic."

The empress looked to Kylo and back to Palpatine. "Grandfather I can feel the conflict inside of him. He is weak. I won't--"

"Silence!" Bellowed Palpatine. "You will do as I ask if you want to take the throne. That is my final word."
