Gerard Way X reader

Sleeping in

After the incredibly awkward moment that had just unfold Gerard and I slipped back into his room. Now fully clothed and kinda tired.

I was getting kinda tired and all I wanted to do was sleep "Gerard I'm really tired I'm gonna get some sleep" I mumbled sleepily

"You get some sleep then darling" Gerard kissed my nose lightly and tucked a strand of my (y/h/c) hair behind my ear

"Night Gee" I whispered as I turned onto my side and buried my head into the pillow

"Night night (y/n)" he kissed my cheek before wrapping his arms around me and burying his head into my shoulder

We both drifted off into sleep and I felt so safe, warmth practically radiated off of Gerard's chest

I opened my eyes after what felt like ten minutes but must have been a few hours to the sun slowly rising outside of Gerard's apartment window, the light shining a soft pool of light on Gerard's face, his lips in a gentle smile, his black hair in greasy curls over his face and shoulders, his skin pale yet gently tanned and caressed with light. I couldn't help but look at him in awe with a soft smile rested on my lips. I ran my fingers through his hair and kissed his forehead lightly. He wriggled a little and let out a soft giggle "that tickles" he mumbled as he blinked his hazel eyes open

"Sorry Gerard, I woke from the sunlight and I was in awe of how cute you looked" I said a blush spreading on my cheeks

"Aww that's so sweet, but please please please can I go back to sleep" he said his voice husky with sleep

"Of course Gee" I said curling into his body and breathing in the scent from his t-shirt

"You should get some sleep too" he kissed my hair and I felt my eyes slowly close

Safe, I'm safe
