We arrived at Gerard's within an hour and the sun was now starting to shine. Gerard grabbed my bag and locked the car door before leading me into the apartment building as he had done before. He held my hand in the elevator as we went up to the tenth floor. The door opened and he pulled me into the apartment and put my stuff into his room. Gerard broke the silence.
"So have you told your mom you are staying with me?" He asked sitting on the edge of his bed
"No" I said pulling my hoodie over my head
"You need to" he said taking the hoodie and hanging it on the back of a chair at his desk
"Why?" I said playing with my shirt
"It's your mom! She'll think you are dead!" He almost chuckled taking his trainers off
"What if she asks why I'm staying with you?" I mumbled picking at my nails
"Just tell her you want to" he said taking a cigarette out of the packet from his desk
"I'll call her" I smiled
"Good girl" he said lighting the cigarette sat between his lips
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and clicked my mom's contact with shaking hands.
"(y/n)?" My mom's soft sober voice asked over the line
"Hey mommy" I said playing with my hair
"Hey baby" her voice was sweet
"Mom I'm gonna stay with a friend for the next week or two, is that ok with you?" I asked Gerard smiling encouragingly
"Yes of course that is, the kids are gonna miss you but as long as you go to school, eat your food and behave then that is alright with me. I love you so much baby girl, stay safe" I smiled widely as she agreed
"Thank you mom, I love you too. Tell Kurt and Zoe I love them too" I said before hanging up
I lay back on Gerard's bed and let out a breath, he sat next to me and placed the cigarette between on my lips. I smiled and placed my fingers on the cigarette and inhaled deeply leaning my head on his shoulder. He placed a hand on my thigh and rubbed the skin softly as I exhaled the bitter smoke with a grin.
"So I guess you are stuck with me" he grinned
"Yeah I guess I am" I giggled stubbing the cigarette in the ash tray
He gave me a strange smile and I giggled.
"So we never truly sorted out the friend thing did we" He said with a smirk
"I guess we didn't" I said with a grin
"I mean I am almost 15, shits legal when I am 16 and we don't need to tell anyone but our friends who are bound to find out" I smiled
"See exactly...plus I'm not much older" he smirked
"I suppose not" I said with a shrug
"So, how would you like to be my girlfriend?" He said playing with my hair
"I would like that" I said with a smile
"Well then say hello to your new boyfriend" he said before kissing my cheek
