We arrived at Frank's place within about half an hour, he lay me on the couch and wrapped a blanket around my cold bruised frame. He sat stroking my hair as we waited for Violet to arrive with the food, he turned on the TV and made me a cup of tea. Violet rang the apartment doorbell and Frank ran to the door.
"Thanks Frankie" Violet said as she placed the food on the coffee table and sat next to me
"No problem V" he smiled before grabbing the first aid kit from the bathroom
"Thank you for looking after me" I said curling into Violet's warm body
Violet helped me out of my clothes and lay me on her lap as Frank poured alcohol onto the cotton wool pad before dabbing on the grazes on my hands and arms, he also put an ice pack on the bruises on my side to ease the throbbing. I winced at the alcohol but Violet's hand was there for a tight squeeze as I flinched.
After five minutes of dabbing wounds and a few tears I was cleaned up. Violet helped me put my clothes back on and we are out food with great delight. Frank and Violet stroked my hair and cuddled me as I Satan's explained what had happened with Zach in the past week.
"You need to tell someone, tell your mom" Frank said encouragingly
"I can't tell her, she wouldn't believe me or she'd be too drunk to care" I said before swallowing a bite of my burrito
"(y/n) don't be so stupid, you have to at least tell your mom if not the cops" Violet said wiping hot sauce from my chin
"Ok but not now, besides he was probably drunk it'll settle down" I said trying to believe myself
Frank's phone rang and he darted into his bedroom to answer it, Violet and I sat and ate our food in peace, Frank came back through to the lounge, sat on the couch and rested a hand on my thigh.
"So that was Gerard on the phone" Frank said with a smile
"Yeah?" I said with a small blush
"He said that he gave you a key to his apartment" Frank smiled
"Ooooooh" Violet giggled
"Yeah he did" I mumbled
"He said that he wants you to stay with me tonight but from tomorrow you are gonna live with him and if your mom or siblings need you then you can go home but one of us will come with you" Frank said slightly sternly
"Uh ok" I said slightly embarrassed
"It's ok (y/n) you are so lucky to have Gerard as a friend" Violet smiled
"Hey come on now we are just trying to keep you safe" Frank said rubbing my back as he noticed my tears build in my eyes
"What if I don't need protection!" I said slightly angrily
"Hey easy now" Violet said squeezing my shoulder
"I'm sorry" I said tears now rolling down my cheek in a flurry of shame
"It's ok (y/n)" Frank smiled softly
"I'm just so ashamed, it's only me that he does this to, not my mom, not my siblings and I mean thank god because I wouldn't want him to hurt them but why me?"I said choking and sniffling now
"Hey hey it's ok" Violet said tears in her eyes now, she pulled me closely into my chest
"You haven't done anything wrong, this is his fault" Frank kissed my forehead as I shook in Violet's arms
"Do you want me to call the police or social services?" Violet asked with a smile
"No no please no!" I practically shrieked
"Shhhh it's ok, shhh" Frank said cuddling me now too
"We won't call anyone" Violet smiled
"I just want to sleep now" I said my body tired from the carrying the weight of the world
"Just close your eyes then honey" Violet cooed
"Sleep easy sweetie" Frank smiled as he watched me fall asleep slowly in Violet's arms
"I love you guys" I mumbled before passing out on Violet's warm body
