Chapter X: Merlot's lab

*Yang's POV*

Sand was in the air as we walked under the night sky towards Merlot's lab... after the encounter with Merlot... at least his voice... we were more cautious... now that he knows about us... 

We walked along the pipes our weapos ready... we reached a place where a steam was blocking our path... luckily there was a valve nearby... 

Blake: "Yang turn the valve... we'll cover you if there will be grimm..."

Weiss: "That won't be necessary..."

Ruby: "You don't know how old the valve is..."

Blake: "Just try not to use too much strengh... we don't need the vavle broken..."

Yang: "I'll try not to..." I went towards the valve and tried to turn it... it didn't work so I used a bit more of my strengh... still nothing... "I can't turn it and I'm afraid that if I use my full strengh I'll break it.."

Weiss: "Ruby help her..." Ruby wanted to but we heard a growl... grimm were incoming...

Ruby: "Use your strengh Yang..."  Merlot's voice was then heard...

Merlot: "Trying to close the steam I see... now, now I wouldn't do that..."

Yang: "Why would we listen to you..."

Merlot: "I thought Beacon's students are smarter than that... where are the old times..."

 Weiss: "What are you talking about?"

Merlot: "See how strong the steam is? If you close it it will build up the pressure in those pipes and they might explode..."

Blake: "Don't listen to him Yang... just do it..."

Merlot: "Well then... it's your funeral..."

Yang: "We'll only see after I will close it..." I activated my semblance and used my full strengh to close it... all the time while I tried to close the steam the girls were fighting the grimm... and winning...

After a while I finally moved the valve... the steam closed off as the path in front of us was free

The vavle then jumped off the screw as it went flying into the air...

Yang: "Oops..."

Merlot: "Hey now... that valve was new and expansive..."

Blake: "We closed the steam... great job Yang..."

Merlot: "Fine then... go on and you might actually find me..."

Ruby: "You already said that..."

Merlot: "Have some respect to the older young lady... such expansive stuff... are you always this reckless?"

Weiss: "If it's expansive and it serves some bad guy like you Merlot... it's only good that we destroy it..."

Merlot: "Bad guy? Me? How can you say that?"

Yang: "Right we forgot... forgive us... you're a madman..."

Merlot: "Now that's more like it!"

We continued on the way avoiding the strange liquid that was on the ground when suddenly a strange growl was behind us... we looked around and saw mutated beowolf...

Blake: "Not this guy again..."

Merlot: "Meet my newest complete experiment... say girls... isn't he awesome?"

Yang: "We defeated one before... we will defeat it now as well..."

Merlot: "Before? Hmmm.... interesting.... tell me more..."
