Chapter VI: Voice of heart

*Y/N's POV*

It didn't take us long as all of the grimm that appeared were defeated... but then... a rift or something appeared... and a huge black and green grimm appeared... it was a beowolf... but a giant one and he had some crystals growing out of him...

You: "Now this will be interesting... let's get this over with..."

The mutated beowolf rushed at us as he slashed with it's claw... he released an energy wave thanks to that... we all dodged it and kept our distance... after all we didn't know what can it do and if it doesn't explode like the mutated creeps...

I rushed at it as it slashed towards me yet again the energy wave released... I slided under it as I continued my attack... but then the beowolf smashed the ground glowing slightly in the process... some crystals errupted from the ground going towards me... I dodged to the side and ran away from the crystals expecting them to explode... but they didn't... instead they went back into the ground...

Ruby: "Whoa... it's more dangerous... but maybe it doesn't have another attacks?

Weiss: "I'll cover you with my shards... go..." she started shooting shards at the grimm... Ruby and Yang both rushed at it but the grimm... roared? Is that what the mutation made him do? and then made a triple slash at the girls... 

Meanwhile Blake got to me as she said...

Blake: "Let's get around it and attack it from behind..."

You: "Sure but don't hit the crystals on his back... who knows what it might do..."

Blake: "Right..." and Oobleck... he was writing something into his notebook...

Me and Blake rushed at the grimm from behind, Weiss was shooting shards at it and Yang and Ruby attacked it from the front... the beowolf roared again but this time before he could slash three times as he did before me and Blake cut his back... and I released ice into it's body hoping it will slow him down... Ruby and Yang hit him from the front but they didn't manage to cut him...

You: "Attack him from behind... his back is a weakness..."

Ruby: "Leave it to me... get his attention..."

Blake: "HEY! YOU STUPID WOLF!!! I'm over there!!" That worked as the beowolf was now facing Blake... and me... 

You: "That's good... come at me... I'm more tastier than her!"

Blake: "No pick me..."

He rushed at us both as he slashed releasing an energy wave... I took Blake's hand as I pulled her towards me and together we dodged the wave...

And then we heard a howl... when we looked around the mutated beowolf was lying on the ground dead.... but it could still explode..

Oobleck: "GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!" We all rushed away... but nothing happened... the grimm only dissolved and left a pool of that strange liquid. "Students! That was a show of fighting mastery... very well done.. this is still concerning though... we didn't see these beowolves on Mountain Glenn and its underground... so that could only mean... they are new.. and this is not good.... let's continue..."

So we got on the way... there was nothing interesting going on for a while... but then we stopped all of a sudden and without a reason...

Oobleck: "I have to go... there's a problem with transmission not far from here... if you continue you should be able to get to an old temple... we'll meet there..."

We devided with him... and continued on the way... I was looking at Yang here and there...

Weiss: "Gah... this is so annoying! I miss the warm bed!"
