Chapter I: New Mission

A/N: Hello and welcome everyone to my 9th book already.... this one will be a bit shorter as it will only have 16 chapters (excluding bio) but I do hope you will enjoy it...

*3rd POV*

It was another day in Beacon academy, the students had a lunch time in cafeteria... among those were Y/N L/N, a 1st year student and also a guy that was alone in his team, his fight in the initiation was exceptional so Ozpin, the headmaster, let him stay in Beacon, along with Y/N there was team RWBY... an all girl team, the members of the team were Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Belladonna and last but not least Yang Xiao Long... 

The relationship between Yang and Y/N was... very good... they were best friends since they met... actually Y/N fell in love with her because of how funny were the times he was with her... there was a problem though... Yang was wearing very revealing outfit and because of that almost every boy in school asked her out or... even wanted to be her boyfriend... but she rejected them all... saying always the same thing.... she already has someone...

Y/N wanted to ask her out too but when he heard that he changed his mind... If she's happy with him... then I am happy for her... I won't get in their way... he thought

*Y/N's POV*

I was sitting in the cafeteria next to Yang... she just made a pun.... though others found it annoying, I found it funny... I couldn't help it... Yang was funny, beautiful but also hot-headed... quite literally considering her semblance.... the thing I loved about her the most... is her hair... I got to learn she's overprotective of them... that the one who touches her hair have to be on a wheelchair for a week... they were so long, golden... and smooth... yes I did touch her hair on accident... when I accidentally fell towards her as we were practicing together... that time it was strange... her eyes turned red for a moment... but I felt no punch... she said I was okay cause I fell on her on accident...

Yang: "Y/N.... hello Y/N... anyone in that head of yours?"

I shook my head quickly as I turned towards her...

You: "Yeah... I'm here..."

Yang: "You were staring at me for a while.... are you okay?" My cheeks went red...

You: "I'm fine... just thinking is all..."

Ruby: "Ooohhh... what about?"

You: "About... eeeh.... what to cook for dinner tonight to myself..."

Blake: "Is that so Y/N?" I looked at her weirdly... Blake was one of my friends and the only one who knew I have a crush on Yang... in exchange I got to know she's a cat faunus.

You: "Yes..."

Weiss: "Why were you stuttering then?"

You: "No reason... probably some.... Remnants of my thoughts finishing up..." I looked around as Yang chuckled while others groaned.

Ruby: "Ah come on.... not you too!!"

Yang: "Can't help it Ruby... Y/N is just punny... like me..." I bursted in laugher as long as Yang did a while later... then we heard an announcement...

Announcement: "Would team RWBY and Y/N L/N come to Ozpin's office...." We all looked at one another wondering what we did or why he wants us...

Weiss: "Well... we shoud go."

Ruby: "Let's go see what he wants again..." we left and got on our way towards Ozpin... once we arrived he looked at us.

Ozpin: "Team... I have a mission for you."

Blake: "A mission?"

Ozpin: "We recieved that there were some strange activities in Emerald Forest..."
