*Y/N's POV*
Closed in a dark room was getting on my mind... even after all those operations I still was myself and could control my emotions... in a way... I had anger issues thanks to Merlot... my bloodlust went skyrocketing sometimes but only for a short moment... and my body experienced immense pain here and now... especially on my back...
Merlot: "Well... let's try it again shall we..."
You: "You'll pay... I will make you pay!"
Merlot: "Oh... how sweet of you to threaten me... but don't worry... I will crush your will and then... you will obey me... do as I say..."
You: "YOU MONSTER!!" I rushed at the speaker but an electric shock stopped me.... I coughed blood because of it... then the lights went on as I had to cover my eyes...
Merlot: "Wake up... time for another experiment!"
I looked at the blood I coughed now spilled on the ground... it was a mix between red and black...
I then went unconscious...
*Yang's POV*
In the morning we broke the campfire as we got on the way to another communication tower... we were walking through the sandy beach towards the one we already unjammed...
Ruby: "I think it's better if we split up..."
Weiss: "Why?"
Blake: "I agree... that way someone can go to unjam the signal on that second tower while the other two can search for something strange..."
Yang: "Alright... but how do we split?"
Ruby: "I'll go with Blake... you can go with Weiss..."
Weiss: "No... I refuse to go with her.."
Yang: "Too late Weiss... let's go..."
And so we split up...
Weiss: "Do you even realize that the signal is blocked? How do you think we'll call them or they call us?"
Yang: "We'll find a way..."
Weiss: "Alright... if you say so... I wanna see how genius..."
Yang: "We're wasting time here... let's go..."
we searched the beach for another tower... we came across a cave with that strange liquid
Weiss: "Look here... it's that liquid again..."
Yang: "Let's be careful... I don't like how much of it there is..."
Weiss: "Come on Yang what can it do." She knelt in front of it as she touched it with her finger... "Ouch..."
Yang: "Told you it's dangerous..."
Weiss: "Now I know... but... it hurts still... as if my aura had no effect of protection on it..."
Yang: "What? It ignores aura?"
Weiss: "Yeah... without testing it first hand you wouldn't know..."
Yang: "Wow... you made a pun... I'm proud of you Weiss... you're learning quickly..."
Weiss: "That was not a pun!"
Yang: "Now it is... but I have to warn you... if your puns will make Y/N laugh more than mine... we will have to have a serious talk..."
Weiss: "Then you don't have to worry at all... I'm not gonna make another one... that's for sure..."
Yang: "Now we're talking..."
