PHOENIX: Three Wanderers #13. Dread and Tekkers Down the Mountain!
--- Musafirin Mountain: The Lower Valleys ---
Cain slides down a hill katana in hand. His yakuta was torn and stained by the grass of the mountain. Three one-horn Jinn that looked like beefy pit bulls surrounded Cain as finally made it to the end of the hill. Cain readies his blade in the as they start to circle him. Jeez, there's Jinn everywhere on this mountain. Is a Jinn hunters paradise. Cain sets his blade ablaze as the one in the middle jumps at him. It goes for a bite and blocks its mouth. The flame burns the mouth of the Jinn who jumps away coughing up flames. The other two pence. Cain ducks the first and kicks the second. From the corner of his eye, he sees Dalia and Mahaz riding Amyr coming down the hill as a giant two-horn snake-like jinn with wings is chasing them.
Mahaz~ HOW THE HELL WAS THIS THING IN THAT SMALL AS CAVE!?
Dalia~ I DON'T KNOW! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO POKE EVERYTHING WITH YOUR STICK IDIOT!?
Mahaz~ IT'S A STAFF! AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A ROCK!
Dalia~ IT WAS MOVING!!! Oh.. look there's Cain! He made it out of that ditch he fell in. Amyr go get him!
Amyr~ happy grunt
Mahaz~ You sure he's your cat? He loves the Samurai more.
Dalia~ I AM IGNORING YOU NOW!
Cain slices one of the Jinn in half as it jumps at him. "Homura.... Pure" he quickly says as the other two latch onto his arm and bite but he easily burns them off. Now that he has better footing than on the hill, he can easily dispatch the jinn. Just as he's about to finish the other two. Amyr stomps on them with his electrified paws. Cain frowns but there's not much time to talk as the giant snake-like Jinn approaches. He sheaths his blade and jumps on Amyr behind Mahaz. Amyr runs straight to a nearby riverside and turns around as the Jinn starts to coil itself; ready to attack.
Dalia~ Alright. I'll take it's attention; you guys light it up. Mahaz, no blood magic. Cain, no Homura using saiban{trial}. Amyr can easily take these guys out with a clear attack.
Cain~ Gotcha! Amyr, get me into the air.
Mahaz~ Blood Magic would make this way faster but alright then "Mother".
Dalia jumps down and activates her Batlat Sawada {Black Petals}. She starts to phase in and out as she skips near the snake-like Jinn. She gives it a big kick and diverts its attention away from the boys. She takes out a single scimitar and tosses it at the face of the jinn with her Butlat Al Raqs {Dancing petals} attack. The blade, much like Dalia, phases in and out as it connects right under Jinn's mask and gets lodged in there. Mahaz jumps off Amyr and ties his bandana to his pole staff. Amyr chucks Cain into the air activates EANQA {Phoenix} and unsheathes his blade as he starts to glide down at the Jinn. Mahaz tosses his staff and he activates IIRAJAE to make it spin like a helicopter blade. The staff connects a few times to the stomach of the Jinn. Dalia runs up the body of the snake and gets to her lodged blade as Amyr readies his electric paws. Cain deactivates his EANQA and comes diving straight down with sword blazing and two-handed as Mahaz catches his returned staff and Dalia dislodges her blade. Amye pounces into the air at the same time Cain comes crashing down, slicing the side of the large Jinn.
Cain~ MOEGARA SUISEI {Cinder Comet}.
Cain slams into the ground as a trail of flames slices the stomach of this jinn in half. As it screams in pain Amyr pounces on it and mauls it in half with its claws. Dalia and Mahaz help up the battered Cain (mostly due to himself honestly. He fell down a ditch when he wasn't paying attention, slid down a hill, and now chucked himself from the sky at a giant Jinn), as the Jinn dissipated, allowing Homura to purify it's gigantic soul. Amyr reverts to his child form as the group collects themselves.
