Towards the other side of the room, Dalia and Cain were mapping out their next destination as the baby cat Amyr started to jump around in the tables, knocking around some beakers

Dalia~ AMYR STOP THAT. I'm so sorry Doctor! He has so much energy after transforming.

Xhen~ no no it's okay, I have plenty of those lying around anyway. Have you two decided where you heading next?

Cain~ yeah... we're going to head south towards Musafrin Mountain. It's the hot spot for Jinn hunters, sounds like it's good to get information from.

Dalia~ We should head out as soon as possible. It'll take a day through the Eternal Road by cab.

Xhen~ Right then. You kids be off as soon as you can. pours a drink we're going to stay around for a few more days before we have to head over to the Militia base. Even tho they ridicule my work, I'm still the doctor they come to when they need it the most. I'm going to take a nap now to test my old bones. Tae! Wake me up for dinner!

Tae~ Of course Father....

Dalia and Cain began to pack up their supplies. Tae continues her day being quiet per usual and on occasion chatting with Dalia here and there. Dalia went out to grab some food for the trip, so Cain took this opportunity and went up to Tae

Cain~ Hey Tae. Sorry about how I acted toward you before, your information helped. It's just... I've been looking for this town for a long time, trying to get Homura back to the shrine and all. Honestly, I just want to learn more about our people. We're called Demon children if we survive. Don't you think that's messed up?

Tae~ Thank you for your apology Mr.Samurai. I appreciate it. And yes of course it's messed up. I didn't get born with the goddess flame like you. So I can't imagine how it must have been being called those names.

Tae~ I was very rude to you as well. Honestly, I did not believe all your claims but now I know. You are one of the most talented fighters I have seen. And you are very determined. So as long as I'm under your care and Fathers, I will help you find our hometown with all my power. And I also thank you for allowing me to meet Homura of course.

Cain looks up and they shake hands, burning the hatchet it seems. Her hands were cold, uncharacteristically for a Phoenix child. She has never had a connection to Homura. Cain decides to use some of his flame to allow her to feel Homura's warmth. Tae has a small smile on her face when the door crashes open

Dalia~ ALRIGHT!!! I got some good stuff—- in the eyes of Dalia, she sees her best friend locking hands with Tae and staring into her eyes. She puts her hands on her face and starts to giggle Oh sorry I'm intruding on something. Cain you bad boy wait till Homura finds out!
