Damon stands outside her Grams house and hears her talking to her.

"You know it was your parents decision to keep magic from you" Her frail voice says.

Bonnie sucks her teeth. "It wasn't right for him, mom, or you to stop me from doing magic. I could've been so good at it" Damon smiles knowing she was really good with magic. Her voice sounded younger, but still all the same.

"You know we all are trying to keep you safe. Getting into your magic means becoming vampires servants" He can practically see Bonnie's eyes roll.

"There haven't been vampires in town since around fifteen years ago" Bonnie tries to rest her case to get her grandma to allow her to do magic. Damon knows this caused the young witch to be angry at Sheila for doing this, and it made her feel alone.

Sheila lets out a tired sigh. "They can always return. I promise you I will let you use magic when I feel it is absolutely necessary"

"Sure" Bonnie says sarcastically.

"Bonnie Bennett, do not use that tone with me. This is to protect your life because I don't want my granddaughter dead....all because I let her into the magic world" Sheila Bennett's tone is strict and very serious.

Oh Sheila, if only you didn't just push your granddaughter into the opposite direction right now, Damon thinks to himself.

A defeated sigh is heard from Bonnie and he can hear her heart pounding in his ears. It was as if he was in that house with them. He shifted on his feet as he could tell Bonnie got the answer she wasn't looking for.

"It's getting late, I should go Grams" She gathers her things and is eventually outside. Damon watches Sheila watch Bonnie get to her car safely. Her eyes follow her pulling off before the curtain moves and he hears her clean up before probably heading to bed.

Damon immediately gets in his car and makes sure to follow her carefully. The streets were small and empty, she could tell he was following her in a heartbeat if he drove his car a certain length. When she turns, he makes sure to pull over before continuing following her. At each stop sign, he makes sure to cut into a driveway or slow down. Luckily, her dads house wasn't too far from Sheilas so he didn't have to go through it for long.

Her toyota prius is parked smoothly and she hops out of it. Pulling over into another houses driveway, Damon knows no one is home because there is no heartbeat and signs of them which means the house is either for sale, or they're out of town. Looking at her, he sees her petite frame infront of her door. Her hands get out a key and he watches her door open. Silence is all he hears inside the house and it makes him frown knowing her dad wasn't home for the first day of school tomorrow.

Bonnie heads in and as the door closes, he doesn't see her anymore. Sometimes being a vampire was tricky because of the whole invitation thing. He wondered if since he was already invited, he could get in.

This is the past idiot, His mind nagged. Ofcourse he would need a invite to get in. Getting out of his car, he speeds while transforming into a crow and perched on the tree outside her room. As soon as he sees her, his breath hitches as a memory appears.

Looking into her window, he really felt she needed to get thicker curtains. Her small frame was on her bed as she looked at something on her computer. Leaning closer, Damon sees Facebook on her screen and rolls his eyes as another picture of her dad, happy on his 'business trip' is what she's looking at. Her dad could be more secretive by not posting him enjoying a cocktail with some dark skinned lady who isn't someone Bonnie knows. She bites her lip and he watches as long thin fingers wipe a tear away. Not wanting her to cry, he throws a rock at her window making her jump. Giving her a sheepish smile, she rolls her eyes before walking to it.
