Hallie flopped onto Flynn's bed, letting out a huge sigh as he closed the door.

"Hey, you probably don't want to talk about it anymore, so what else do you want to talk about?" Flynn said, fidgeting with his hands.

"You're telling me that you have powers too, Flynn?" she asked. Flynn simply just nodded.

"Why didn't you tell me about this? I'm not mad, I'm just confused because we never keep secrets from each other?" she questioned.

"Well...they aren't exactly a thing that you just share with everyone," Flynn explained.

A silence filled the room, but after a short moment, Hallie spoke again.

"I want to see them," Hallie said, making Flynn's eyes widen, his fidgeting got more intense.

"A-Are you sure? I mean, they aren't really developed yet..." Flynn felt his anxiety rise, not really prepared for her to say that.

"Yeah, why not? They said that you've been working on them over the summer, and I would love to see all your hard work!" She smiled, patting on his shoulder to calm him down some.

He shyly smiled, still feeling rather nervous. He has worked with his mom and dad to help develop his powers for a while. Although they have helped him a lot, he was still insecure about his powers. Apparently, when you develop powers, you get a secondary power as well. For instance, his mother can read minds and his father can fly. But they had tried every single possible secondary power to see if he had them.

And he simply just doesn't have a secondary power.

However, his father did tell him that his grandma had healing as a secondary power, but it fused with her main power, which was snow.

"Well...I'm not sure exactly how to show my powers because I heal but you don't have like any cuts or anything," he said softly.

"You know...I could just hur-"

"NO you don't need to hurt yourself, I'll find another way to show them." he loudly spoke, startling Hallie just a little - he is never this loud.

They sat in silence for a little as they both were lost in thought. Suddenly. there was a knock on the door.

Flynn got up and opened the door - his mother was there, holding her hand tightly.

"Hey there, hun. So basically, I was trying to do dishes and I accidentally cut myself with one of the knives that I was cleaning, and I want you to practice your healing power." Dawn said, quickly smiling at Hallie too, who seemed curious.

Flynn looked at Hallie, who proceeded to get up to watch him work his magic.

He took a deep breath as he grabbed his mother's hand. The cut was not exactly deep, but it was bleeding a normal amount. He felt a little squeamish by looking at the blood but nevertheless, he kept going. He focused his attention on the cut as he put his thumb near one of the ends of the cut. He pressed down, and he felt his eyes begin to burn.

Hallie watched as Flynn's natural black hair turn a dark shade of green, and she saw as his eyes, which were naturally quite bright green, turned the same shade as his hair. She looked down at Dawn's hand, and almost gasped at what she saw.

Coming out of his fingertips were these golden-like strings. They were as thin as a thread, but they moved quickly. The strings quickly went to the cut, and it looked as though the strings were sewing up the cut as they gently went through it. Once all the strings were on the cut, they quickly pulled up, lacing up the cut, leaving not a trace of a cut behind.
