Flynn gasped, "Are you insane, Hal? How are going to be able to do that when we don't know what we are even capable enough of?"

Catherine wiped her forehead, "As much as I want to support you, Hallie, but you are just out of your mind. We would die instantly if we went to the government agency and tore it to shreds."

Hallie lowered her head so she wouldn't have to make eye contact. She felt a little dumb for even suggesting the thought of it, but she would have to be lying if she said that she didn't believe in what she thought. What was the point of going to the school if the government was always coming back to try and kill you? Aren't you just constantly waiting for someone to come and kill you? Sure, you need to know how to protect yourself properly, but the bigger picture is that the government agency needs to be taken down.

"Would you rather die trying to destroy an agency that has caused your father to have trauma, Flynn, or would you rather die on the way to a stupid school in the middle of the woods?" Hallie spat harshly towards her best friend.

Flynn was a bit taken back since Hallie was not normally harsh in any sense. She normally was a sweet, sunshine girl, but just by looking in her eyes, Flynn knew she spoke from her heart.

"Sure, I may be an amateur when it comes to my powers, but the fire that is in my heart refuses to be tamed. Do you guys realize how important it is to go into the agency and fully stop what it is doing, not only to avenge all the people that have been lost but also for future generations? We need to do it for them." Hallie fell to her knees, the last ounce of courage ran out as tears went down her cheeks.

The rest of the group awkwardly stood there as Hallie broke down. After a few minutes, Flynn approached the crying girl on the ground. He sat as he brought the girl into his arms, letting her cry into his shoulder.

He rubbed her back to console her as he pondered over her words. He knew that it would be too selfish to go to Ivybane, just as they have been instructed to do, but he knew that this was the group that he needed to be in in order to succeed. This group can't split up, so that means that they would have to all go to the government agency...together.

After a while, Flynn helped Hallie get up as she rubbed her eyes so that no more tears were in her eyes.

"You do make quite an argument, blondie. I wouldn't want to go to Ivybane if I knew I could do more with my powers." Trey said, making Hallie softly smile. It was good to know that she wasn't alone in her thinking.

Catherine gave one of her infamous sighs, "We are a team. So we should stick with each other. If we need to go to the agency to save the future generation of those with powers, then that is what we shall do."

Flynn smiled at Catherine. It was hard for her to change her mind, but maybe, just maybe, she was becoming the team leader that they needed.

"Let's get going!" Max shouted as he ran down the sidewalk. He couldn't get too far away from the group without Catherine grabbing the back of his shirt and pulling his back towards her. She pulled a little too hard as he fell back into her forcefully as they both fell to the ground.

"Oh, sorry Catherine! You sure got strong arms though!" Max giggled.

Catherine rolled her eyes, "We don't even know where we are going yet. The only clue that I really got from Flynn's mom was that the agency would be a really large building."

"Maybe we could go to the library. I heard my mom talk about this one library that has a bunch of books about our powers and such - there could be some material that we could use." Flynn explained.

"Hey guys, you see that?" Trey pointed towards where they just were.

They all turned and looked to see a figure standing near the window of Flynn's house, hovering a hand as a book was flying in the air, swishing back and forth. The figure's hand went down when the book reached Catherine's feet.

Catherine picked up the mysterious book as the figure waved at the crew before leaving from eye view.

Catherine examined the book before opening up to the front page. She gasped when she realized that she was holding a book that belonged to Tesla.

A note fell out of it - the handwriting was different compared to the scribbles on the front page. She leaned over and picked up the fallen note.

Just in case you need any other tips :)

Catherine smiled and held the note as the rest of her friends gathered around to see what the book was all about.

They looked through the book together as they walked towards the library downtown.

A group of men and women were sitting around a large table, some of them holding onto stacks of papers as they were waiting for someone to walk into the room.

Everyone in the room was an elite member of a government agency that's prime job was to exterminate those with powers. They have been at the agency for ages, but have little success regarding exterminating people. Their claim to fame was that Ceren Rune successfully killed a girl a while ago. There have been a few deaths here and there, but they still have not had the numbers that they want to meet.

Normally, they stick to children, so that the bloodline stops there. However, they have decided that they were going to use new tactics. Now, their targets weren't limited to younger people, but rather people of all ages. This way, it would be easier to get more people on their death count.

Currently, they were in a meeting. The attack that they sent out did not work, as the teens were able to defend themselves. However, they did get valuable information about the teens, including what powers they might have.

The only concerning part of this investigation was that many of their agents ended up dead, some fell from high places but a few just were mysteriously dead in the hallway, with no certain cause of death.

They were all chatting when two people walked into the room. There was their boss, who goes by the codename 'Moose'. He stood at a relatively tall height, but that wasn't why he was intimating. He had one eye that was brown and one that was an electric blue color. His black hair was long, needing to be slicked back with hair gel. He always wore suits, even on weekends and vacations.

The other man who followed behind him was strange. His appearance wasn't strange (although the trenchcoat was a little offputting). The man had dark brown hair and aqua-colored eyes. He looked friendly, but he gave off an aura that made a few people in the room uncomfortable.

"Good afternoon everyone. I would like you to meet our newest ally, Dr. Cyrus Dimitri. He has graciously decided to team up with us in order to exterminate those with abilities." Moose said, gesturing towards the man with the trenchcoat.

"It is an honor to be here."
