"Hey, you're that girl that stole my friend from me yesterday, aren't you?" Kassandra looked up to see Delilah's friend standing there, hand on her hip and a smirk on her face. Suddenly, Kassandra had an idea of how to decide where to go for her date. "Will you guys excuse me for a moment?" Before her friends could say anything, she grabbed the other girl's arm and dragged her off to another, more secluded part of the shop.

"Jeez, what's your deal?" Amelia asked. "I need your help with deciding on where to take Delilah on a date." Kassandra began pacing back and forth as she continued talking. "It has to be somewhere where nobody from either of our teams will see us or we won't be able to be together and I can't handle losing her so-" Kassandra's rambling was cut off by laughter. She looked over to see Delilah's friend wiping a tear from her eye as her laughter began to subside. "Calm down, calm down. You're not going to lose her just because you can't think of where to take her on a date. Gods, she really wasn't exaggerating when she said you were dramatic." Kassandra just stood there staring at the girl across from her, visibly dumbfounded. "Don't worry, she told me all about your situation and your secrets safe with me," she said, smiling while she put a finger up to her lips and winked at Kassandra. Kassandra let out a sigh of relief before quickly remembering why she had brought this girl over to talk in the first place.
"So, do you have any ideas for where we could go?" Amelia just smiled a little before letting out a sigh. "Why don't you guys go have a picnic at the soccer fields. Just tell her to tell her parents that she's going for extra practice with Coach Banes." Kassandra couldn't keep the grin off her face as she quickly thanked Amelia for the idea before running to her friends.
"Sorry guys, I have a date to plan. I'll talk to you guys later," she said before running out of the little coffee shop. On her way to the grocery store to pick up some supplies, she texted Delilah the plan and told her to meet her at the fields at noon. Delilah quickly responded saying that she couldn't wait, leaving Kassandra excited and running even faster to the store as if it would make time pass faster.
