The main reason introverts are drained by social activities is because those activities feel like a sensory assault. After a short perios, we want to shut down and turn inward just to end the onslaught. Since we can only handle so much stimulation at a given time, reducing stimuli will extend our social batteries.

Sarawat POV

It has been several days after the last time I met Tine. He told me that he wouldn't come to the music club anymore. He wanted to leave that club.

It was shocked.

Initially, he told me that his crush, Nam, dumped him badly. He caught that Nam was hanging out, or possibly dating, with another guy. Frankly, I was so relieved. I was really happy with that bad news.

We know it.

Sometimes bad news is a good news.

But, I still remember that Tine was struggling for guitar even that is not really easy for him. He still hope that he can hit Nam in the perfect time. His main purpose to join Music Club is for getting Nam. No doubt about that.

So that, when Tine found Nam dated another guy, seems that Tine lost his hope. He didn't insist on learning guitar anymore. He told me with his disappointed face. I thought it was just a mood swing. He is a cheerfull guy, then he will be turning to be happy in just a few hours later.

But, seems I was wrong.

After that time, I never met him anymore. I have sent messages for him, but he didn't reply on it. I also made calls, but he didn't pick it up.

I thought that I was loss of control, I was too crazy about him. It was too much stimuli about him to my mind, so I tried to ignore that.

But in fact, I couldn't.

He is successfully distracted me badly. I couldn't concentrate about what I am doing. Moreover, I am suffering from moodswing. Then, for sure anxiety.

"Did you come to the field this evening?", Man asked me. He cut my wrinkle thought.

"No"

I leaned my head on the table. My class has dismissed.

"Something happen?"

"No"

"How about lunch?"

"No"

"Are you going to die?", he mocked at me.

"Oey......", I was really annoyed.

Boss bursted to laugh.

"Why did you reply me with No. No. No. Didn't you have another answer?", Man asked me.

"You will made me deaf, Man", I complained him as he talked with raised voice.

Boss didn't give his comment, he was still busy for laughing at us.

"Lately, I saw that your mood is really bad, Wat"

"I am not", I refused his thought.

"You are", he ensured his answer. "You will get wrinkles at your face easily", he mocked me again.

I just stared at him.

He smiled.

"If you are not really well, then just go home directly. Get longer time for sleeping", Boss told me. "Or....... Do you want to join us for lunch before going home?"

"I don't think so"

"So, I will leave you. I already so hungry", he excused himself.

Then, they packed their bag, stood up and leaved that room.
