Chapter 6

Harry’s POV:

She came in and just whispered something to Niall. His eyes flashed with anger as he glared at Zayn. What had happened, Niall told her something and she was leaving when Zayn hugged her and she went up to my, I mean her room. As soon as she closed the door Niall spoke, “Zayn why mate, why show her the monster on your first date?” Confusion spreads on Zayn’s face, I myself am not able to comprehend what the hell is happening here. “Wait Niall. Who are you talking about? We were enjoying when my football team captain came up and spoke to us and since then she’s been upset.” “And who exactly is your captain?” “Daniel John.” As soon as he says those words I understand everything. Alyssa saw Daniel, the guy who had damaged my princess. “Zayn did you know that Alyssa and Daniel knew each other?” “No, like they behaved like strangers. I seriously had no idea.” This time Niall speaks up, “Zayn if you want to hang out with Alyssa then you better keep her away from Alyssa. And if she meets Daniel because of you, Zayn remember you wouldn't get to see her again in your life and I would make sure of that.” “Niall I don't get it. Whats going on between Alyssa and Daniel?” “Nothing is going on Zayn,” Niall raises his voice, “he’s a part of her past she doesn't want to meet. And the rest only Alyssa has the right to say.” “Shit, I didn't know. I’ll make sure she doesn't meet him next time. I am really sorry Niall.” “Whatever now apologize to her tomorrow.” “Sure.” He waves goodbye and heads out. Niall sighs and runs his hand through his hair, he’s worried.

“Niall, relax. Nothing will happen to Alyssa.” “Harry, for gods sake, Alyssa is like my sister to me I can't see her hurt like this. You dont know how much it kills me when she self harms. She needs to know that just because a person turned out to be fake doesn't mean she takes the blame on herself. Now go, just go away.” “Niall..” But I am dismissed by the wave of Niall’s hand. I walk up to my room, damn I mean Alyssa’s room. I open the door and see she isn't in bed. I immediately walk over to the balcony and shes sitting there. Legs dangling over the railing, and god forbid if someone pushes her she was going to fall. I walk to her and grab her hand, she flinches but then realizes its me, “Harry go away.” “I won't princess.” She raises her hands in exasperation, gets up and walks to the bed. “Harry you can sleep on the bed if you want to, I wont kill you.” I chuckle and  go inside. She’s already asleep. I get inside the covers and feel her move towards me. And this time instead of whispering she suddenly shouts, “Get away from me Daniel. Get away.” She’s now awake and hitting my chest with her hands, her eyes were closed as though Daniel was right in front of her. I hear the door open and Niall runs in. He holds her in his arms until she calms down. She blinks a few times and realizes that she was sleeping on the bed with me and not Daniel. “Harry you sleep peacefully I’ll take her down.” I nod, Niall closes the door behind him. Alyssa in his arms. I cant go to sleep. What is there in this room, or in a bed that she has nightmares about him?

I wake up and walk downstairs. Its Saturday, hopefully I could see Daniel during practice and ask people about him. I go down and open Niall’s bedroom door. He and Alyssa are still sleeping. I take out one of Niall’s sweatshirts and am leaving when I hear a voice speak, “Good morning Harry. Sorry for hitting you yesterday.” “Good morning princess, and no you didn't hurt me.” She just smiles, hugs Niall and falls asleep. Sometimes I feel Alyssa and Niall are dating and then I remember Niall and his hatred for dating. I take a shower and head to the field. There were some selections today and I wanted to be on the team. I reached and saw the familiar dark hair with a bleached quiff. I walked over to Zayn and spoke to him. He suddenly asked me, “Do you uhm.. think Alyssa may like me?” I am taken aback by his question, though I really didn't know if she liked someone or not. I just shrugged my shoulders, he sighed and we walked to the selection ground.

Soon the selection was over. Me , Louis and Zayn were selected into the football team we were leaving when Zayn called over to a guy with blond hair. He walked up and patted Zayn, he shook hands and introduced himself. “Hi guys, I am Daniel, the football team captain.” It was hard to miss those blue eyes. It wasn't a wonder Alyssa had fallen for him. He was hot, tall, blue eyes and blonde. Perfect package. I excused myself and pulled Zayn along with me. “Zayn what exactly happened between you and Alyssa yesterday night?” It was an awkward time but after seeing Daniel smirk at Zayn I felt the need to ask Zayn. “We were kissing.” He just stated it plainly. I was shocked. I knew Alyssa had been drunk but not so drunk to kiss Zayn. “Zayn, she was drunk you took advantage of her.” “Woah, Harry, mate calm down. I tried to tell her to stop but she kissed me and she told me she wont regret it and I’ll be talking to her about it in the evening.” “Oh. I didnt know. Sorry bro.” “No problem.You are going back home right?” “Ya.” “Can you tell Alyssa that I would pick her up at around seven.” “Ya sure.” He said bye and walked off while I walked home.

I reach and see that Alyssa and Niall are playing on the xbox. “Harry how were your selection?” The Irish boy asks. “They were amazing. Me, Louis, Zayn got into the tam.” “Congratulations Harry” Niall and Alyssa say at the same time. I go upstairs and change into something comfortable when I remember Zayn’s date thing. “Oh and by the way princess Zayn is coming to pick you up at 7.” “Ya okay.” I connect my console and play with the. Alyssa goes up and gets ready. It’s like only 5:30 and shes gone to get ready. “Niall, how much time do girls take to get ready mahn.” “Even an eternity isn't enough for them Hazza.” I groan at the pet name when he again speaks, “So you call Alyssa princess, eh?” He smirks too, wow. Just great. “Ya, she’s such a drama queen at times.” “Oh come on Hazz you can tell me if yu like her, I wont kill you. ‘Cause every guy I talk to seems to like my best friend.” I chuckle and Alyssa enters the room. She’s wearing a white cut out dress and she looks fantastic. Niall whistles and she swat his arm. She sits down and ties the strap of her heels when I see something like a tattoo on her waist. Damn, I never knew she had a tattoo.

Soon Zayn’s here and she leaves, I go upstairs and try to do some research on this Daniel guy. When I search his name the first thing that pops up makes me laugh, they are memes. I go down to news pieces that are about a year or two old when something catches my attention. It isnt about Alyssa but about Daniel and some other girl and the news along with it is terrifying. It’s from the school gossip paper. I need to talk to Daniel now. My mind is telling me its a senseless and stupid idea but I cant keep my curiosity shit any longer I need to know what had happened that one night.
