Chapter 4

This evening was a perfectly normal evening for you, you had close your shop, took your dinner and you were reading a book. Nothing could possibly go wrong...

But you suddenly heard screams coming from the streets. You get up quickly and looked by the window to see what was going on.
You first saw a giant flame wall, it was twice the size of the royal castle.
You never saw something like this, you were completely absorbed by your observation.

But you suddenly saw another thing, a giant fist throught your window. You backed away quickly as the fist broke your window and barely missed your face. The broken glass cut your arm as you fell on the floor.

"W-What the hell is going on??" you said to yourself as you get up and tried to found a way to flee.

The monster entered in your house, his hand headed to you. By chance you always had some of your acid flask on you, in the case you should be able to defend yourself. You trow the flask to him, as he broke it his hand started to melt. You had the feeling it won't stop him, you ran out of your house by the broken window, you felt sharp glass cutting your hand and your right leg this time. These cuts weren't deep but they were enough to slow you down.

You felt anxious as you noticed the damages outside. There was a lot of monster everywhere, they were kidnapping people, a lot of habitation were destroyed. The city were surrounded by the flame wall, it seems like you were in hell and you couldn't flee...

The person who managed all of this was watching from the sky. His plan was working perfectly, the people of this city were being kidnapped and separated. His monsters had practically done all the job, it wasn't going to be long since the humans would send troops.
He was really impatient to hear what his master, the Supreme being, Ainz Ooal Gown, was going to say about all of this !

The humans were trying (and mostly failed) to defend themselves, the flying devil noticed some of his monsters had little cuts on them, but even if they were pretty low level, these humans couldn't do anything more.
But he suddenly noticed one of his monstrous assistant had a missing hand... It looked like it melted...

There was not yet adventurers and troops of soldier, it means that there was a higher level person who was hiding here. 'How interesting...' he thought.
He still had some time before the human army would end their defense strategy.
He decided to take a look after the person who was capable to hurt his monster that bad, he may be founded a new interesting experimentation test.

"DAMN IT, IF I DIDN'T HAD TO HIDE MY OTHER FORM I COULD BE SO MUCH MORE USEFULL." You angrely cursed as you ran from another monster.
You tried to hide a few times but they kept find you over and over again.

You had just a one flak left, a spoprific one, you opened it and trow it on the monster behind you, who started to fall asleep. But you realized that there was not one monster behind you, but two, you were out of flask and energy. You couldn't run anymore. As you lost the hope to see your shop again, a hand grabbed your arm and dragged you out of the street.
Before looking at your savior you noticed that the monster weren't following you anymore...
The person who was dragging you entered in a house, you looked a them and realized...

Ah yes it seems logical now...
The man didn't looked very human, he had a tail and big ears.
He must be one of these monster, that's why they weren't following you anymore...

"So... I wonder, where did you find these flasks, human ?"

His tone was cold, he looked at you with a superior look. He was wearing unusual clothes compared to the ones you saw in this world. You wondered where he came from...

"If you answer now I promised you a painless death, I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to you."

The thing was, you couldn't answer, because your capacity to product these were clearly out of this world.

"I make them, but I can't show it, it's a really complicated production, I need a lot of equipment to product these."

Maybe you could gain some times, until the reinforcements come. He seems interested about your products, if you kept him interested he will maybe let you alive.

" I don't need you to make these, don't think I'm a fool, human. Give me one of those you own and we're done."

As he spoke with that human, Demiurge had a strange feeling, the thing in front of him was looking human, but it felt like it weren't completely... It was kinda familiar?
He started to wonder if he really should kill it, even if it was the safest option.

As the silence started to be really oppressive for you, a loud crash from the street further echoed up to the two of you.

"Seems like Momon is here."
