Today, Demiurge had great news for his Master!
He didn't know where this initiative will go, but at least it will be an exciting experience. Even if he wanted to keep the surprise, he couldn't let Master Ainz stay unaware of the situation.
"Ah Demiurge, you wanted to report something you saw a week ago? I'm ready to listen."
"Yes, Master Ainz. I met an interesting person, with capacities that might be of considerable benefit for us."
Ainz seems interested, and after all, every single one of the discoveries that Demiurge has made since the beginning of his work here had been genuinely beneficial!
"Oh? Tell me more about that!"
"I wish to send them to Carne; their work could improve the quality of the potion from that human there. However, I don't desire to spread false hopes, so I insist you let me have some results before talking further about them!"
"As I know that you always act for the well-being of Nazarick, Demiurge, I will wait until you show me results!"
The tail of the demon swished around happily as a proud smile appears on his face.
He saluted his Master with respect and left the room.
These last days he'd surprised himself wondering about the expression of that woman. It was quite unique, and it was not like the other humans he had tortured before as his pastime. Maybe because she wasn't entirely human? He wasn't sure about it... Still, he couldn't wait to see more of that face of hers soon!
And now that he thought about it, he should ask for her name the next time he sees her, and although it wasn't in his habits to do that, there's a first time for everything.
______
You were pretty surprised to see that the village of Carne was as lively as the city!
They had not many residents, but they were all determined to make the village lively and able to defend itself.
When you arrived, you introduced yourself to the villagers. You said you were an alchemist who wished to study alternative alchemy in a calm place. Everybody seemed to be very enthusiastic about the fact that you wanted to move in.You meet the people named Enri and Nfirea, and they explained to you the story of Carne and the tragedy that happened some time ago. You quickly linked this event and the story Gazef told you because of the name "Ainz Ooal Gown." You knew it was a name you had to remember, and you were right.
Were Jaldabaoth and Ainz Ooal Gown related? If so, how? The questions kept appearing in your mind, but you were interrupted by Nfirea.
"So, your name is (Y/N)? And you said you wanted to study alternative alchemy? I'm actually an herbalist! We could try to work together on a potion?"
The boy seemed very scared to propose to you this, but he seemed very determined at the same time.
" Why don't we give a try? But healing potions aren't my main specialty, I should warn you!"You remembered that in your old D&D game that you were the only healer in your party, but you were stubborn, and the potions made of acid or poison interested you much more than the healing stuff, so you made those instead.
One hour later, you were in Nfirea's workshop with him, ready to give a try at your collaboration!
"Nfirea, you could at least let her settle down!"
Enri seemed annoyed by the fact that her friend couldn't wait to try a new recipe for his healing potion and didn't let you rest after your journey.
"Sorry Enri, I promise to let her have some peace and quiet after this!"
"I'm not the one who you should say that to, you know!"
You laughed a little, finding them pretty funny. Those two were a good duo.
"Oh, no, it's okay! I'm glad my work interests him that much, and I'm not that tired!"
Enri sighed while Nfirea seemed just as excited as before.
The production of the potion took a little longer than you expected, but you had some interesting discussions with Nfirea. You already suspected it, but your alchemy was exceptionally different from the one of this world.
The result was interesting, and even if it wasn't your forte, you two made a healing potion!
The result was shaded purple, and Nfirea seemed to be truly surprised.
"So? Is it good?"
"That's the first time you've seen a potion that wasn't blue?"
You seemed a little embarrassed because you'd only seen blue ones in the city and yours were green, so you had no idea about what you made.
"I- I already said... The healing stuff isn't my specialty, so... Yeah, that's the first time I've seen a purple one..."
"Ah, sorry! I didn't mean to be mean to you! I was just surprised because this potion is very more qualitative than the blue ones! I only started to get this result recently, and with your help, I got it pretty quickly and in a larger quantity! I thought you had already tried to do one of them, but you're right, that's not your specialty, sorry!"
"It's okay! If you say it's good, then I trust you."
You were trying to avoid more questions about your previous experiments.
"We should try again soon! I'm sure that with your help, we can make perfect ones!""Okay, okay, let's do that again, but first, let me settle down and get some sleep."
You waved goodbye to the young blonde haired boy as you headed to your new house.

A lot of various things happened, and if you thought that your arrival to Carne was the start of a slower arc in this story... Well, there are no words to describe how much you are wrong!(Special thank to @Alice_Frazier who was my proofreader for this chapter !)
