Nothing.. That is the best way to describe what he felt right now. He felt absolutely nothing. No touch, no sound, no smell, just nothing. Even his thoughts seemed to evade him at the moment as if trying to keep him in this brief bliss before returning him back to wait was waiting in reality. How did he get here? Where was he?

"Wake up," a soft voice called out to him. It sounded almost gentle in a way like someone would when calling to a child. His brows furrowed in confusion.

'What is that? Why.. Why can't I move? Ah, my hea-'

"I said, Wake Up." The voice sounded more forceful now. A second voice groaned in the distance, but he couldn't tell who it was. He tried to open his eyes, but lead seemed to be weighing them down. How hard did he hit that wall? "Wake up or, so help me, I will throw you into the lake." The, female by his guess, voice threatened.

The male only huffed in response, he was trying damn it. Shuffling could be heard before he was dragged across the ground by his hair. His body began to twitch as he tried to struggle. 'Let go of my hair!' Hidan screamed in his mind. "That fucking hurts!' His struggles paused briefly as his body felt weightless then renewed in strength as he landed, face-first, into ice cold water.

Bubble burst from his mouth as his body snapped into action, pushing off the sandy bottom and bursting to the surface. Gasping for air, he discovered the same woman from before standing at the water's edge. They were much deeper in the cave now, the entrance no longer in sight. The water he stood chest deep in filtered down through slits in the rock to his side, creating a little waterfall. Glow stones at his feet lit up the area in a soft blue light and the cave ceiling reflected with a rainbow of colors. In any other situations this place would be very peaceful. "I told you to wake up. I don't make idle threats." Her voice broke through his observation bringing his anger back full force.

"You bitch!" Hidan tried to attack, but found his hands bound behind his back and his ankles tied with barely enough slack to be able to walk without falling over. "Untie me right now, before I kill you!"

"I'm not stupid. Do you really think I wouldn't tie you up after you snuck into my cave and tried to steal MY gold?!" She yelled. The mysterious woman held her hand out to the side and a wooden staff appeared. "Get out of the water. You and your friend have some explaining to do."

"I'm not telling you shit! Untie me or you'll regret-AH! What the fuck?!" His threat turned into a yell. The same invisible force from before lifted him into the air, her staff glowing faintly in her hands. The woman began to walk deeper into the cave with Hidan floating along behind her.

"I'm tired of your screaming. Keep it up and I'll kill you." Her voice had a slight undertone of annoyance in it, either Hidan didn't notice or didn't care.

        "I can't die! I'm immortal!"

"We'll see about that." She tapped her strange weapon on the ground once and Hidan dropped next to his, now mask-less, partner. "I really don't like thieves, but two attempts in one week is very suspicious. Especially when I go through all the trouble of hiding deep in caves and far, far away from anyone else. Who are you and who do you work for?"

"Why would we tell you?" Kakuzu gave a gruff reply.

"Because I'll rip you both to pieces that's why. I can hear your five hearts beating a mile a minute in there and I'm getting real curious as to what would happen if one of them were to just," she made a 'pop' sound with her lips as she pointed the end of her staff at him as if popping a bubble. "Doesn't it make you wonder?"

        "You wouldn't dare."

"Try me." She hissed and stalked around them like a predator watching it's prey.

"You can never make us talk!" He yelled at her. The stitched man losing his cool slightly.

"Oh, you don't need to talk for me to find out. You just need to be weak." Golden eyes stared at the two men from the darkness under her cloak and the games began..

"I have to give you boys some credit," she said as she backed away from her tenth attempt at entering their minds. "No one has held of this long before. Most break after the second try." She tapped her staff on the ground twice and the man dropped to the floor, bruised and bloody from her abuse. Hidan still had the strength to talk unlike his partner who was barely conscious.

"You sicked, twisted bi-," his statement was cut off as her boot connected with his jaw. She knelt before him and grabbed his face in both of her hands. "Get.. your hands off me!" He spit blood at her making her cringe.

"You leave me no choice. Let's see if you really are immortal as you say." She growled and her claws dug into his temples. Hidan cried out in pain and his lavender eyes met golden ones. He tried to fight it but the pull was too strong, he got sucked deep into those eyes and his screams died down into silence as she searched his mind. "Hmm.. Hidan, S ranked criminal, you work for.. the Akatsuki? That's a new one. Partners with Kakuzu and.. oh, so he dragged you here? Let's she what this organization is about." She mumbled to herself, but her ramblings feel on deaf ears.

Before she could find out anything else, a needle dug into her back. Her mouth opened in a silent scream and her body fell to the side, unconscious, ripping her claws out of Hidan's skin. The albino screamed out in pain from not only her claws, but from his mind crashing back into his skull and exploding with liquid fire. He rolled across the stone floor with hands clutching his head screaming for it to stop. It felt like someone was inside putting his brain in a blender then throwing him into a pool of lemon juice and salt just to seal the deal. The woman had been literally sucking the life out of him, he could feel it now and his immortality was barely keeping him conscious. "Kakuzu make it stop! Make it stop!" He screamed over and over like a broken record.

The needle piercing his skin went unnoticed by the screaming man, the burn from the sedative was  overrode by the pulsing in his skull. The darkness was welcomed with open arms and he barely caught Kakuzu limping across his vision towards the cloak woman at his side before his eyes closed completely.
