"Welcome to your Virtual Learning Program."

Peter and I were sitting in another one of Tony's glass rooms, watching the screen in front of us. I wasn't sure what we were watching, but it seemed to be an introductory video on how to use the technology. Half of it was pretty explanatory, but Happy told us we had to watch the whole thing for safety reasons.

I wasn't going to question what he meant by that.

"Good to see you've watched the video," Tony said, strolling into the room, "we can just jump right in, then?"

I opened my mouth to respond, but the man stopped when he saw me, and gasped. I was confused on why he seemed so offended, till I realized he was staring at my clothes.

"What did I tell you about those nerdy science t-shirts," he said, "only in the workshop."

I blushed, tugging at the bottom of the shirt in embarrassment, "it's not mine, it's Peter's..."

That made his gasp widen even more, and he turned to look at the boy sitting beside me. Peter sunk back into his chair sheepishly, not knowing how to explain it. Tony took a moment to look back and forth between us, before looking at Happy.

"Aren't they a little young?" he said, before glancing at me, "you know what, I'm gonna pass on the details."

"Wait," I said, sitting up, "do you think we...?"

"Yes."

"Oh my god, no!" I exclaimed, "that did not happen!"

"She just didn't have any extra clothes," Peter tried to explain, before snapping his mouth shut, "that sounded wrong, didn't it?"

"Yeah, kid, you think?"

"Okay, what Peter was trying to say," I cut in, "was that I accidentally fell asleep at his house last night, and didn't bring a change of clothes. So he lent me some."

Tony seemed to take a while to register that, but when he did, he clapped his hands and moved on. As he began to talk, I locked eyes with Peter and mouthed a quick, sorry! He smiled back, mouthing yikes!

Once the whole aspect of online schooling was explained to us, Tony left the room and took Happy along with him. As soon as we were sure that they were gone, the two of us burst into a fit of laughter.

"What the hell just happened?" I asked, clutching my stomach as I giggled.

"I'm not sure, but let's not talk about it!"

"Agreed!"

"He was like, aren't you guys too young?"

"Peter, I thought we weren't talking about it!"

"But that was funny!"

"If the two of you would stop laughing, I would like to administer the first lesson plan," Friday said.

The both of us jumped at the sudden voice, but shut our mouths' quickly. Even though we couldn't see Friday, she could probably see us. The first topic was surprisingly fun to talk about, considering neither of us enjoyed school.

But this was real school. We weren't learning about trigonometry, or geometry, or other things we'd never really use in real life; we were learning about quantum physics, programming codes, and other amazing things!

And we'd be learning this stuff for the rest of the year.

"Has anyone actually traveled into the quantum realm?" Peter asked, raising his hand.

"As I have repeated 17 times, you do not need to raise your hand."

"Oh-right, sorry," the boy flustered, shoving his arm back down.

"To answer your question, yes. The only person on record, who has survived a sustainable time period in the quantum realm, is Scott Lang."

"Who's Scott Lang?" I asked.

"Ant-Man."

"Cool! He's another bug? Like Peter?"

"I'm not a bug!" the boy yelled.

"Um, where have you been, SPIDER-MAN?"

"Do you see eight arms sticking out of me?"

"No," I snapped, "but you could still lay eggs. I just don't know it yet."

"Ew!" he said, sticking out his tongue, "I do not lay eggs!"

"Prove it!"

"How on earth am I supposed to-"

"Children, do not make me get Mr. Stark."

"We're good!" Peter said quickly, shoving himself down in his chair.

"I am afraid your time is up. I am shutting off the digital learning program."

"Already?" I asked, glancing at the clock, "dang, it's already noon..."

"Lunch time!" the boy cheered, doing a fist pump, "do you think Mr. Stark has a kitchen?"

I grinned, raising my eyebrows, "let's find out, shall we?"

We stood up from our chairs and raced to the door, but were stopped by Happy and Pepper.

"Peter, I'm taking you to get lunch," Happy said, "y/n, you have a press event with Miss Potts."

"Wait, I can't eat lunch?" I questioned, my stomach already starting to grumble.

"I'll bring you something," Peter offered, "what do you want?"

"Okay enough talking," Happy groaned, shoving the boy in the opposite direction, "she's busy."

I could barely say goodbye before Peter was thrown into the elevator and taken away. Pepper just stood there, shaking her head.

"Boys," she sighed, "am I right?"
