Taismo and Sonamy: Tails' daughter

Chapter 8

The day after Amy was the first to say hello to Tails, she saw the dusty house and offered to help, he wanted to say no, but Amy insisted on that and Tails choosed to let her do what she want.

Sonic got there as second and, after saying hello to both Tails and Amy, asked Tails' help to understand more about the Tornado and rebuild it, Tails accepted and said that, doing it together, they were going to end it fast so he had more time for his plant, Sonic wasn't happy of this but started to work on the Tornado.

That afternoon Cream got there too, Amy opened the door and let her inside helping her to clean the house.

The day passed really fast, but none of them ended the work they were doing, so they said that tomorrow they were coming back and end the job.

It took an entire week to both clean the house and fix the Tornado, but they ended the job, they managed to bring Tails' attention away from the plant, but it didn't last, Cream took care of the plant for that week while she was cleaning the house, but after work or during any pause they took (for eating, because they were tired or to go toilette) he always went to check his plant.

Sonic was still worried, he couldn't make change the idea to Tails, so he asked him to help with the project he asked him much time ago.

Tails didn't remember that request, so Sonic helped him remember, he wasn't surprised that Tails didn't remember after all what happened.

"Don't you remember, I asked you to make some special shoes that allow people to run like me"

Tails: "Sorry, I don't remember, but maybe we can try to make some tests, I'll need to collect much data to do it"

Sonic: "Well, ok, what do you need for the tests?"

Tails: "I need you to run on some specific machines, I'll need time to build them, so take a free day"

Sonic: "No Tails, I want those shoes as soon as possible, so tell me what you need and I'll bring them to you really fast"

Tails: "Well, ok, why do you want those shoes? I don't think they'll work on you"

Sonic: "Well, I... ehm..., sorry Tails, it's a secret"

Tails sighed and got to his desk, he wrote a list to Sonic and said: "Ok Sonic, take, this is all I need, bring it tomorrow here, now I want some free time"

Sonic wanted to reply on what Tails said, but he saw that the list was really long and, after all, they worked very hard for that week, so he decided that some free time was ok, but it wasn't ok that Tails was going again to look only his plant.

The day after Sonic got all what Tails needed, so he headed to Tails, before entering he saw Eggman with a machine and, around him, there were Amy, Knucles and Rouge talking, he stopped to him to ask: "Hey guys, what are you doing here?"

Eggman: "Don't you remember? I had to make a plan that only Tails could stop me, so here I am"

Sonic: "Oh, great, what did you do?"

Eggman: "I created a space station, you see it there?" Eggman pointed on the sky.

Sonic nodded, then Eggman continued: "That station is supposed to fall and crash on your village, so everyone will be defeated and I'll be free to make my Egg-Empire, this is the only console that can control it, I'll be down here tied because you defeated me, but it was a hard fight and you guys got hurt in the fight, you go call Tails and tell him that he must stop it."

Sonic didn't like his plan, he said: "It's not a bad plan, but what if Tails can't block it, what if the station actually crash, I don't want to risk this."

Eggman: "Don't worry, whatever happens that station is programmed to stop before it crashes, and I've got this remote control to activate some jets to send it away, and about that console, it cannot block the station, unless you'll work really much, I needed 2 hours to do it, he'll need more time for sure."

Sonic admitted that Eggman how a wonderful plan, he said: "Ok, I like the security you took, let's do it"

So everyone got to their place, Sonic left all what Tails needed for the project in the way to make him believe it was true and got to Tails house.

Sonic panicked and screamed: "Tails, we need you, a station is going to crash and destroy everything"

Tails was there watering his plant when Sonic came in, Tails stopped what he was doing and got out to check the situation.

Sonic told him to go and use that machine, so Tails did, he asked first: "What is this machine doing here?"

Eggman: "I was testing that station from here, and I decided to make it crash, damn you"

Sonic: "We just blocked him, but he refuses to stop that station, please, do something"

Amy, while faking the pain, hardly said: "Please... Tails... do something"

Tails started checking the machine and everyone was happy to see him occupied with it, but it took him only 2 minutes, then he left saying: "Don't worry about it anymore guys, I've done it, now I go back to what I was doing."

Everyone couldn't believe to what they just heard, Tails did it in 2 minutes and not 2 hours?
After he got back in his house they stopped to play their part and asked Eggman to check what Tails did, he got to the console and saw that it was shutted down, he tried to turn it on but Tails prevented everything.

Eggman: "I don't have any clue on what he could have done, let me stop the station" so Eggman used the remote control, but it didn't work, the station wasn't stopping, instead started to go faster.

They were in panic, nothing was stopping the station, suddenly the station exploded, they relaxed to see it, but still a big part of it was falling, it eventually crashed on a place they didn't know.

Sonic was really worried about what Tails could have done, so he ran to the crashing site, they waited for his return, he came back after 10 minutes and they saw that he was laughing really much, they couldn't understand what happened to make him laugh so much, so they asked him.

Sonic tried to stop laughing when he saw Eggman, but it was impossible for him, and when he calmed down he tried to said between a laugh and the other: "Sorry guys... I got... it's really... Tails..." he wasn't able to speak and exploded in a laugh again, everyone started to laugh without knowing the reason except Eggman, he wanted to understand what happened.

Eventually Sonic managed to calm down and said: "Guys, Tails redirected the Station" he was starting to laugh again, but he managed to end and said: "AND HE MADE THE STATION CRASH ON THE EGG CARRIER"

So everyone started to laugh but Eggman, this time they knew what happened and they had the same trouble that Sonic had to stop.

Eggman was really angry of this and screamed: "I CANNOT BELIEVE IT, YOU'RE EVEN LAUGHING... FINE, IF THIS IS HOW YOU COOPERATE WITH ME, I STOP THE COOPERATION NOW!" and, full of angry, he left the group.

It took to everyone about an hour to calm down, then they went home, Sonic decided to get back inside and see what Tails was doing, he got the tools that they needed and went inside Tails' house

Tails was watering his plant and checking its condition, which make Sonic come back to that problem, so he complimented for what Tails achieved with the station and Tails said that it wasn't hard for him.

Sonic got right to the point, he got everything that Tails needed and he decided to help him with the machines.

Tails accepted, so he took his plant and got to his warehouse, he started to build what he needed, but he wasn't paying attention, so he built everything in the wrong way, passing the whole day on building and disassemble what they did.

This made Sonic really angry that he exploded in rage: "TAILS, REALLY TODAY YOU'VE BEEN ABLE ONLY TO THINK ABOUT YOUR PLANT?"

Tails got surprised by what he heard and answered: "Well, I did my best to build them, and I saved you from Eggman before, remember?"

Sonic full of rage said: "THAT WAS ONLY A PLAN TO TRY MAKE YOU FORGET ABOUT YOUR ***** PLANT, WHEN YOU GOT BACK FROM OUR SPACE TRIP YOU'VE BEEN ABLE ONLY TO TAKE CARE ABOUT IT... I know you're hurted from Cosmo's death, BUT YOU CANNOT LOSE YOUR LIFE FOR THIS, IT'S FROM THAT DAY THAT WE TRY TO HELP YOU, YOU CAN'T CONTINUE THIS WAY"

Tails understood that everything was wrong, so he got upset and said: "WELL, I'VE GROWN ENOUGH, I CAN CHOOSE BY MYSELF, AND TELL ME WHY DO I CAN'T CONTINUE?"

Sonic said: "BECAUSE WE'RE NOT ABLE TO LIVE TOO, WE CANNOT SEE THE STATE YOU ARE, A DEAR FRIEND WHO GOT DESTROYED BY THAT EVENT, STOP IT TAILS"

Tails really upset screamed: "WELL, YOU MUST ACCEPT IT, AND IF YOU CAN'T YOU MUST LEAVE"

So he pushed Sonic out of his house and locked the door, he didn't want to listen to him anymore, he saw that it was quite late so Tails had his dinner, watered his plant, took it with him and got to his bed, he expected to have a hard night, but when he got under his blankets he started immediately to sleep.

He woke up immediately, but he thought it was wrong, he understood to be in a dream, he saw all around him was all white, except a green figure, he checked it and asked: "Cosmo?"

He checked the figure more carefully and then he was sure about it, so he started running to her.
