Taismo and Sonamy: Tails' daughter

Chapter 3

While Sonic was trying to get inside Egg-Carrier, Eggman brought Tails to his jail inside Egg-Carrier, he knew that nobody of Sonic team wasn't able to fly, so a place like that should be his best choice, an Island was a good idea too, Sonic couldn't reach him, but everyone else could, and building a ship is much easier than a plane.

Eggman thought that kidnapping Tails was going to make his life easier in defeating Sonic, we all know that the true hero who blocked everytime Eggman was Sonic, but Sonic most of the times (if not everytime) was able to defeat Eggman because he received a help from Tails, taking him out will allow Eggman to defeat Sonic.

However Eggman knew that there was still a problem in his plan, Sonic wasn't the best pilot, but he was a pilot and he still have the Tornado, so Eggman got his entire army ready to defend the Egg-Carrier, he knew that Sonic was going to reach him really soon.

Eggman was really impatient to wait Sonic, so he decided to send some robots to spy him and, in case it was possible, destroy the Tornado, but he didn't believe that they were coming back, he was sure that Sonic would see them and destroy them in a second.

Meanwhile Tails couldn't stop to worry about his plant, he thought that he left there with nobody knowing about it, he was sure that Sonic was coming to save him, but it could take too much time and, when he finally will be free again, it was going to be too late and the plant was already dead.

He believed that a day or another that plant could give him back Cosmo, maybe she's still alive, but what happened to her made her transform in a seed, he was looking outside the window of his jail in a little hope to have a clear sight of somebody taking care of his plant, of course, he saw only clouds all the time.

That time he had to be alone passed really slowly, since it was only a Pain to him and, from time to time, he went back in his old days, thinking about all what he did; that wasn't going to make him happy, since he was going to remember Cosmo and everything he knew about her:

the color of her eyes, her hair, her profume, their adventures, their feeling and all what he felt for her, he didn't even had the courage to tell her what he actually feels for her until it was too late, he'll never be able to enjoy even a moment with her like he wish.

Eventually he saw the door opening and Eggman got inside, he started to speak with Tails saying:

"Finally, I'm going to defeat your friend: Sonic, we both know that behind a great hero there's always a great mind like mine or yours, and without you... HAHAHAHAHAHA, He's going to LOSE."

Tails knew that Eggman probably was right, but he didn't care, he only said: "Please, let me go, I want to go back in my house, I'm worried about... (maybe it's better that he don't know) my house, my machines, what will happen if I'm not there with them."

Eggman thought that his excuses are really bad, who is the idiot who could get in this: "And you really think that I'm going to get you free because your house can feel lonely or your machines? are you taking me for an idiot, I'm the great Eggman, you cannot fool me."

Tails wanted to know if his plant was fine, so he decided to try a little trick, maybe it could work and he asked: "at least I want to know how my house is, I want..." and he started to think about the flower, he kneeled down looking the ground and, while crying, he managed to say: "let me know how is it, I can't stop worrying"

Eggman thought that Tails was exaggerating, he wanted to say something, but first he thought: "Really Tails believe me so stupid, why should he be worried about his house, maybe he's hiding something I don't know inside, what machine there could be inside?"

He said: "Ok Tails, I'm going to ask it to Sonic the next time I'll see him if he'll survive, but I want something in exchange, I'm really sick to stay in this ship with only 2/8 of a mind, and I'm talking about Decoe, Bocoe and Bokkun, I'll ask it to Sonic, if you will play chess with me."

Tails wanted to accept, he was happy that his plan worked, he'll probably know if they saw the plant and if it's fine, but he was still too worried about his plant to think about anything, so he said: "I'd like to do it Eggman, but I'm too worried, I don't think I'll be able to, bring a chessboard, I'll do my best."

Eggman was astonished, he thought: "really Tails is going to do what I said only for that, I'll check really good his house" he called Decoe and Bocoe to have a chessboard and, without making Tails know about it, he told to send a special robot to check all Tails' house.

When they got there Bocoe said: "Doctor Eggman, the convoy you sent to spy Sonic came back, they report the destruction of the Tornado, Sonic won't be able to use it to fly"

Eggman got really angry and yelled: "STUPID SCRAP, DID YOU REALLY HAD TO SAY IT IN FRONT OF TAILS?," actually Eggman was worried for Tails, finally he could enjoy some moments alone with Tails, even if he's the worst enemy of all Sonic team, he don't want to hurt them too much, he feels them like his friends, and Bocoe just said something that was going to make Tails suffer and destroy the moment he was going to have.

Tails got surprised by that, but he didn't care about this, so before Eggman could continue to yell to his robot asked: "Is your offer still valid?" he wanted to know so much about his plant that he didn't think about the Tornado.

Eggman got astonished again and confirmed that, when finally the chessboard, the table and the chairs got there he sat down on a chairs while Tails sat on the other and asked: "Black or White?".

Tails answered white, actually he didn't care about that, he only wanted to finish the fastest possible, so he started to play the match, and he was really focused on defeating Eggman, but, from move to move, he thought about his plant too, and, after 20 moves from both of the sides, Tails stopped to think about the match and made some big mistakes which allowed Eggman to win easily the game.

Eggman was happy, he won, so he laughted and said: "Is that all you're able to do? HAHAHAHAHAHA, I overestimated you, I admit, you've player really good when we started, but move the queen on F6, HAHAHA, worst move you could do, and the tower, even worse, HAHAHA" he was really laughing so much about his victory

After his laughing, when he calmed himself he locked Tails in jail once again, ordered the robots to take away the chessboard, the table and the chairs and left the room

While he was walking to the command bridge he thought again to all what happened, he was still happy, but he noticed that Tails wasn't only worried, he said to himself: "I'm sure that Tails is hiding something to me, maybe a machine, maybe something he care really much about, he seemed more sad than his own shadow... Shadow... SHADOW, DAMN IT, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT".

Eggman remembered about a thing really important, it wasn't Shadow, he knew that probably he won't see him again, but Shadow was able to do the "CHAOS CONTROL" and Sonic discovered it thanks to Shadow, that was a way for Sonic to reach the Egg-Carrier and he wasn't ready at all for this, so he ordered an army to guard Tails' Jail and he called for an army to rush as fast as he could to the altar where the Chaos Emeralds are, hoping that he wasn't too late for it.
