Dabi POV

"Hot Topic?" Shigaraki mutters. "What's that?" I stop dead in my tracks.

"You've never been to Hot Topic?" I ask. Shigaraki shakes his head. "Holy crap, you're Sirius."

"I don't really go shopping. Kuorgiri does," Shigaraki defends "Plus, I don't socialize. Me leaving the bar is a miracle of nature."

"Can't relate," I said. "I always wanted to get out of the house."

Shigaraki and I go to a map of the mall so we can find where Hot Topic is. Luckily, it was relatively close. Which means we didn't have to walk far. Eventually, we got to Hot Topic. To put it simply, Shigaraki's face lit up.

"I LIKE THIS PLACE."

"Of course you do," I say, rolling my eyes.

Shigaraki gives me a playful shove, and we head inside. He was glowing with happiness, kind of like a firefly. And Shigaraki was smiling. Not one of his creepy smiles, a really nice one.

Gay thoughts aside, it was clear that Shigaraki LOVED Hot Topic.

"I have met my people," He said.

We spend the next half-hour shopping. In the end, we both got a lot of clothes and a skateboard each.

(A/N Do they sell skateboards at Hot Topic...?)

"Handyman do you actually KNOW how to use a skateboard?" I asked, smirking.

"...and if I don't?"

"I'll teach you."

"Holy shit, really?" He asked, dumbfounded. "Thanks, I guess."

"Crisis adverted," I reply. "Now, I need to get some cream."

-Time skip brought to you my Sero trying to tape his life back together-

Me and Shigaraki just finished our shopping, and are heading towards the food court. Toga and Twice said that they are also on their way to, and that we should meet by the wall of windows.

"I didn't know you had a brother," Shigaraki said.

"I had a lot of things."

"Now is not the time for 6 of Crows references," he said. "What's their name?"

"I'd rather not tell you that," I mumbled. "It's kinda related to someone I'd rather forget."

"Oh..." Handyman trails off. I suddenly became very interested in a spot on the floor. "Uh, how long have you known Twice?"

"Bro, I've known him forever."

-Flashbackkkk-

"Hey Jin! Betcha can't do the monkey bars!" A kid challenged.

It was my second day of elementary school and I hated it.

The kids were annoying and clingy. I did, however, make one friend. His name was Hawks, and he wasn't as bad as the others. But I wanted one other friend. So we could have a trio. The most EPIC trio.

Anyway, the kid (who was probably Jin) walked up to us.

"Hold my weave," He said.

The crowd, who had gathered, laughed. Jin had a reputation as the 'stupid but funny' kid. Hmm... maybe he could be the third person in our friend group. He wasn't half bad, if I do say myself.

Jin walked up to the monkey bars, like a man on a mission. He climbed the ladder, and grabbed the first bar. And the second. Soon, he was halfway done. But then he surprised us all.

He climbed on TOP of the monkey bars.

And walked the rest of the way to the other side.

"No fair!" The kid who challenged him said. "You cheated! Lazy bum!"

"Lazy is such a strong word," Jin said, giving a dismissive wave. "I prefer the term 'selective participation'."

After the crowd disbanded, me and Hawks walked up to Jin.

"Hey."

Jin turned around. "Hello from the other side!" He greeted.

Weird, but ok.

"You wanna play Mario cart with us?" I offer. "Hawks SUCKS and you seem like a good contender." Hawks punches my arm, and Jin laughs.

"Sure. I am a GOD at Mario cart!"

-End Flackbackkkk-

"Long story short, Twice and I became best buds after that." I finish. "On the topic of friends, how did you and Kurogiri meet?"

"Oh," Shigaraki says. "I was bleeding in an alleyway. He just happened to pass by, and helped me."

"Hold up- BLEEDING?!"

"Yeah. I was aggressively poked by a one-pronged fork."

"...who stabbed you?"

"I don't like these questions," Shigaraki mumbled.

I sighed. "It's fine. You don't have to answer them." Yet.

Shigaraki nods. "Ok."

We walk towards the food court in comfortable silence. Of course, the mall was noisy but you get the idea. Occasionally, people would stare at my burnt skin and Shigaraki's scratches. One woman even covered her child's eyes.

I scowled, and walked closer to Shigaraki.

"Staple face?" He questioned, tilting his head to look up at me. "What's going on?"

"It's nothing."

"Are you sure?" Shigaraki persisted. "You look REALLY angry."

"I'm fine," I say, giving him a small smile.

Am I really fine, though?
