Raman's point of view

When Om Prakash had told Raman that he owed an apology to Ishita, the young chap expressed complete oblivion, unable to comprehend what he had done to apologise to her. Even when he had agreed to make amends, it wasn't due to acceptance of his mistake but simply because he would not be able to tolerate Ishita leaving him. Therefore, he decided that if he wanted Ishita in his life, he would have to show her that his feelings were genuine. Raman was a cunning guy who would do anything possible to fulfill his stubbornness.

Ishita's point of view

Ishita had gotten married to Raman for her mother's happiness and peace of mind. Despite the fact that in their very first meeting, Ishita perceived Raman as a self centred guy, she went ahead just so that her mother could get over and done with the responsibility of her marriage. However, her blind trust in her mother led her to step into a situation in life where she felt stifled. Yet, she had not spoken a word against Raman to Madhavi. That stemmed from the fear that if her father found out about her getting married to such an egoistic and narcissistic guy, he would malign her mother and ridicule her in front of everyone. However, she had shown immense strength without caring to be a dutiful daughter in law and wife, speaking against Raman's disrespect towards herself in front of her father in law. But Raman still did not seem to learn a lesson.

In fact, he went to the extent of manhandling Ishita, declaring that he would never let her leave his house.

Yes, it was true that Ishita was not a starry eyed girl who weaved dreams of a happily ever after but for her, respect was the foundation of a successful marriage. But Raman had only ever wanted to dictate her. There was no way Ishita would put up with such hooliganism. That is why she had contacted a landlord to rent out his flat to her. Now she only waited for the tenancy agreement to get signed. After that, Ishita would be able to lead her life with a semblance of peace.

Madhavi's point of view

In Madhavi's opinion, Raman was a sweet young boy who had the tendancy to expect his wife to do everything for him but she expected her daughter to deal rather easily with something as miniscule. Of course, she was yet to discover how manipulative Raman could be. Despite all her apprehensions, the one thing that Ishita could be sure of was that her mother was not a weak woman. She would wholeheartedly support her daughter and stand up against Raman upon discovering his fallacy.

Chapter Ten

Toshi ji smilingly asked Ishita to join them for lunch and Ishita just agreed in sheer courtesy. If it was actually up to her, Ishita would run out of the house right now. But, she had to be patient and put up with the farce of this name sake marriage for a few more days till the landlord would hand her the keys of her rented apartment.

In the kitchen

Raman sat at the dining table gorging on freshly prepared paranthe when Ishita came in and settled opposite him. He tried to place a parantha in her plate but she blatantly refused him

"Main apna kaam khud kar sakti hoon, thank you."

(I can do my chores myself.)

Raman was taken aback thinking that seeing him serving her, Ishita would be impressed but nothing like that happened. In fact, Ishita did not even bother to look at Raman.
