Chapter 33: Fool's Gold

I walked to the living room so Cal and I could sit and talk.

"So?" I said with a sassy tone looking at him.

"Look I know that article looks bad but-"

"Cal if you're about to make a excuse for that I don't want to hear it. If it was a publicity stunt, why didn't he tell me? That's so stupid how the media just twists everything-" I got up and started pacing because my emotions started to turn angry.

"Olivia let me finish." He raises his voice a little so I'd listen to him.

"I do think it was a publicity stunt, but I don't think it was to get back at you. My dad is the CEO of Sony I know how everything works. I've seen it happen." He said calmly.

I sat back down because I actually wanted to hear what he had to say. "I'm listening." I said.

"I think he was forced to do that to get the spotlight off of me. He works for Sony, and his girlfriend being spotted "cheating" with the CEO's son isn't very good for his career."

"So me? I just get humiliated twice in less than 24 hours?"

"Liv I'm sorry." Cal was a genuine person, but it still didn't take back anything that happened.

"That still doesn't make sense why he didn't tell me." I said crossing my arms still wanting answers.

"I'm not Harry so I can't help you with that. You'll have to talk to him." He said giving me a glare.

"God you sound like Grace!" I said throwing my head back in frustration and bringing my hands to my face.

"Speaking of Grace... do you think I could have her number?" He asked. He wasn't joking either.

I threw a pillow at him and it hit his chest.

"Hey what was that for?" He asked laughing.

"It means it's time for you to go..." I said getting up laughing.

"So no number?"

I walked out of the room and to the front door to open it.

I held open the door and motioned my arm for him to leave in a joking manner.

"Please liv?" He jutted out his lip and batted his eyes.

"Fine here!" I said and gave him Grace's number. I think they'd actually be really together, but he asked at the worst time possible.

"You better not break her heart!" I yelled at him as he walked out towards his car. He just held up his arm to give me the middle finger and I laughed.

It was night time here, but that meant it was the afternoon in Japan so I decided to call Harry and maybe try to talk a few things out.

"Harry?" I asked as soon as he picked up.

"Mmm Liv?" It sounded like I just woke him up.

"Did I wake you up?" I asked concerned. Harry is a morning person so I was confused why he was still sleeping.

"Yeah. Sorry I went out last night and didn't get in until late."

"Are you going to ignore the fact pictures of you and Kendall are taking over the internet right now?" I said in an angry tone.

"Liv I said I was sorry I was just mad about the Calum thing. I just needed someone else to talk to and she happened to be here-"

"So you're telling me this wasn't a publicity stunt?"

"I wish it was." He laughed.

"This isn't funny." I was mad. I was also disappointed because I believe what Cal said.
