I wake up on Ponyboy's and Soda's bed. I see Johnny on the chair and Ponyboy on the floor. I lay back down, and start to dream again. It doesn't last long though.
"Poppy Marie Cade, I know you are awake. It's already 10:00 AM, you are not going back to sleep." I open my eyes, to see Ponyboy sitting at the end of my bed. I instantly smile.
"Whatever. What about Johnny? He's still asleep." I say.
"He had a rough night. He had nightmares again." He said, his eyes darkening at the end of the sentence. Ever since Johnny was beaten up by the socs, he has had nightmares about it. It gets worse and worse, but Audree has helped. Audree Winston, my best friend. We are the same age, 14, and Johnny has been spending a lot of time with her lately. She isn't as dangerous as Dallas, but she can sure act like it. She has had a really rough past, dealing with a unsupportive family and depression. But I know she's strong and Johnny has been helping her a lot too.
"Hey losers." Audree says as she walks in. Johnny wakes up at the sound of her voice.
"Oh hey, Audree." Johnny said, blushing slightly.
