I found the old abandoned church and walked in without hesitation. I saw Johnny and immediately hugged him.
"What happened? I read about the killing in the paper. Is everything alright?" I ask. Johnny tells me the whole story while Ponyboy sits by him quietly.
"I'm going to go get supplies for the week." Johnny says. He leaves and it's just Ponyboy and I now.

"Can I tell you something?" I hear Ponyboy say to me.
"Sure, anything." I replied.
"Since I'm probably going to jail, I wanted to tell you that... That..."
He tried to tell me.
"You can tell me anything." I say with a blush.
"I love you. I'm in love with you and I always have been." He said. I blushed instantly and I leaned in and our lips met. He kissed me back and his hand settles on my thigh. And then I heard something drop.
"What the hell are you doing to my sister?!" Johnny yelled. Johnny was outraged and threw me off of Ponyboy.
"Johnny!" I yelled back.
"Get out, Poppy! I don't want to see you again! Just go!" He screamed. I ran out the church, hopped on the motorcycle, and drove.
