Ch8- I Have the Answer

Third Persons POV
"I don't get it? You, Deku, are the biggest nerd I know. How could you not know who this woman is, if she's a pro!" Bakugo yells and slams a book into a pile." He starts to rip apart one of the books as Midoriya tries to stop him.

"I don't get it? Even the smallest Underground Heroes are in these books. That woman you saw wasn't just a random person. She had to be in the spotlight at some point.." Todoroki puts a finger up to his chin. "Hey, Midoriya.?"

Midoriya manages to get the book out of Bakugo's mouth and looks at Todoroki. "Have you tried..drawing the woman you saw?" Midoriya drops the book and speed walks to his desk. He takes out a pen and piece of paper and started to draw the woman he saw.

Hair, eyes, what she was wearing, every last detail that he could remember of her. The boys looked at the finished drawing. "She doesn't look like any hero I know.." Todoroki says. We suddenly hear a knock at the door.

"Hey guys, dinner's ready." Half the class walks in. "What are you all doing in here? Especially Bakugo.." Jiro and Kirishima point out. "We're trying to search for a hero that Midoriya saw. But we can't seem to find her." Todoroki shows the drawing to everyone.

"I don't know her, sorry." Uraraka says. "She doesn't seem like anyone I know." Iida pushes up his glasses. Midoriya sighs in disappointment. "It's fine.. Thanks for helping guys." He turns Bakugo and Todoroki.

He begans to pick up all the books. But he stops when an unexpected person recognized the picture. "Oh, her." A familiar voice said. "You know her, Mineta?!" Bakugo, Todoroki and Midoriya yelled. "Well..yeah, obviously. I know all woman pro heroes."

He smiles in triumph. 'Of course he does.' Everyone says in their thoughts. "Hang on a second." Mineta runs out of Midoriya's room and comes back with a magazine that was covered in dust. "Here."

Mineta gives the magazine to the boys. Everyone joins as Midoriya opens the magazine. "Her name is Daredevil. Turns out she went to UA High too." Mineta begins to tell what he knows. "She became a pro right after she graduated." Midoriya scans the pages.

"What happened to her?" Uraraka asks. "Nobody knows.. She was a hero only for a short time, but she disappeared without a trace. There has been sightings of her. But no one really confirmed it."

Mineta points out to something on the page. "And take a look at the date it was published." Everybody was in shock on what they saw the date. "This was published the day after she disappeared." Mineta points out.

Bakugo walks over to Midoriya's laptop and types the name Daredevil into the Wikipedia. "Here she is." Bakugo brings the laptop over to Midoriya. Midoriya grabs his Hero Analysis notebook and starts to scribble words out while muttering some things.

"Wait, what's that?" Uraraka points out a picture on the website. "It seems to be a picture of Daredevil with our teachers back in the day." Iida stated out. "They seem to be really close.." Yaoyorozu says sadly.

"So that's why those three freaked out when Deku told them about her." Bakugo sits beside his friend/rival and looks at his notebook. "They probably didn't feel like telling you about her cause they were really close at some point."

Bakugo puts his chin on his palm and watches Midoriya write. "I see.." Midoriya puts down his pen. "I'll have to find a way to make it up to them." Midoriya starts to mumble out different ways to make it up to his teachers. "We'll help you, Deku!" Uraraka smiles and cheers.

"Yes, we'll all be happy to help you, Midoriya. But for now we must all go eat dinner before the food gets cold!" Iida chops his hand and motions everyone to get out of Midoriya's bedroom. But Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki stayed for a small second.

"What is it, Midoriya?" Todoroki stops in his tracks and looks at him. "It says here on the web page that Daredevil had a similar Quirk to All Might's." Midoriya holds up the laptop for them to see. "So she is a user of One For All."

Todoroki puts a finger on his chin in deep thought. "Well, that explains why you saw her in your dream then." He says and walks out of the room as Midoriya and Bakugo sweat drop. "What are you going to do now?" Bakugo asks.

Midoriya sighs and smiles at his friend. "Do what I always do.." Midoriya picks up his laptop and notebook. "More research. I want to learn everything about this hero. Maybe I can find out how she disappeared."

Bakugo sighs and takes the laptop and notebook from him and throws it gently on Midoriya's bed. "We can do that after we eat." Bakugo says in a plain tone. "W-wait! You mean..you're going to join me?!"

Bakugo smirks. "Why not? Besides.. A hero who disappeared and has some relationship to our teachers sound really interesting." Midoriya stares at him in disbelief. "Kacchan..." He soon felt himself off the floor.

Midoriya yelps in surprise as he was being thrown over Bakugo's shoulder. "Let's go before they eat all the food." Bakugo smirks and began running down the hallway.
