Ch6- A Hit From the Past

~Flashback~
"Never thought I would find one but two successors." Nana says as she takes off one of her gloves. "You two have really proven yourselves to be the next wielders of this power."

Toshinori and (Y/N) both look at each other with tired eyes and smile. Nana pulls out two strands of her black hair. "This is when all your hopes become one. It's your turn now." The two young teens eyes filled up with sparkles.

"Eat this!" The two teens stood there with shocked faces. "W-what?! Pardon?" Nana gave them a confused look. "Well, yeah. The only way to gain my power is through my DNA." Nana says it as it was a fact.

"When there's someone you need to save, it's a given that, that person's had to face some terrifying feelings. Remember Toshinori, (Y/N), heroes don't just save a person's life, they save a person's heart too."

Nana turns to face her students. "No matter how scary it gets, you must always wear a smile that says "I'm fine!" She lifts up her fingers to her face to make a smile. "For in this world, the ones who smile are always the strongest."

(Y/N) stood there alone in the rain as she stared down at the marble stones that are monogrammed with the names of her parents. Toshinori, Shota and Hizashi watched from behind.

Not knowing what to do with their crying friend. The trio walk towards their comrade and comforted her. "Remember what Sensei once said to us.." Toshinori kneels down and puts a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder.

"No matter how scary it gets, you must always wear a smile." (Y/N) wipes away the tears from her stained face and puts on a smile. Toshinori smiles back and the boys join in for a group hug.

"Are you sure you want to do this.?" (Y/N) asks her master as she sits next to her blonde partner. "Don't worry.." Nana walks up to the two and puts a hand on both their heads. "Even if I die before it's all said and done..."

"We'll be able to meet again within One For All. It's romantic." Nana turns and walks away.

~another large time skip: back to Ch2~

"You're leaving already.?" Toshinori asks her friend as she puts her jacket on. "Yes.. There's no knowing what could be out there. Sensei gave me one last request.. And I must complete it." (Y/N) says and walks out of the building.

"But-what about me.. Us.. All our friends.. All of Japan! You're just going to leave it all behind like that.?" Toshinori cries a tear as he looks at the back of his former partner. "All Might.." (Y/N) turns around and smiles.

She walks back to Toshinori and puts his face in her hands. "Promise me, that you'll never stop smiling." She sheds a tear as her (e/c) eyes stared into Toshinori's blue ones. "I promise.." She nods and turns away...

~flashback ends~

"Miss (L/N), we're here." The driver of the car states. (Y/N) looks out the window to see her childhood home. "Oh, thank you for the ride." (Y/N) opens the car door and gets out, with her suitcase and envelopes in hand.

"Hey." Commissioner calls out to her. "I hope to see you at UA. Miss Daredevil." He smiles and the car drives off. (Y/N) sighs and scratches the back of her head. "Why did Nemuri have to give me such a nickname back then.?"

She chuckles and walks into her house, smelling the musty air and dust that the home has collected over the years. "It's great to be home." But one thing still nagged (Y/N)'s mind. She looked down at UA's letter.

She sat there looking at it for a few minutes. She sighs and pulls out her phone. She calls the number that was left for her on the letter. "Hello, Principal Nezu, it's me, Daredevil. If UA is still looking for a teacher, I'll be happy to work there." She listens to Nezu's good news.

"Alright then, see you tomorrow." They said their goodbyes and hung up. "I hope I make a good impression." She says sarcastically...
