Chapter 25- Love is in the Air 💑

Sathya and Honey are amazed to realize that it was Tarun and Sunita's prank to make them 'together forever'. They are at the cafe outdoors, the place of their first ever coincidental meeting.

Sathya: I don't believe it...Tarun...

Sunita's words "They are gonna meet in half an hour at the cafe." strike Honey's ears two times.

Honey's inner voice: Her 'they' meant Sathya and me! Silly of me to have not understood the hidden meaning behind it.

Sathya's inner voice: I couldn't say anything when she's with me. But when she's away, my heart releases a lot of words. What an irony!

He keeps sweating despite the chill breeze and hands trembling.

She bites her lips, crosses her arms and looks down.

A roaring thunder comes up, making Honey shut her ears with her hands and eyes closed.

The sky releases a mild shower of rain.

Honey opens her ears and eyes, only to get surprised to see Sathya having kneeled down with a beautiful daisy and rose bouquet in his hand right in front of her!

Her anticipation about Sathya of not having any specific kind of perception for her went wrong. She doesn't give any reaction as the result of her speechlessness.

Sathya: Honey, for the first time...umm, sorry.

He clears his throat.

Sathya: We had met coincidentally in this place for the first time. We bumped into each other as you were in tension. Our second coincidental meeting at LGH resulted in our budding friendship. To be frank, I had never ever spoken with a dame nor even thought of her. Never had I also expected YOU would come into my life.
I know you gave me a birthday gift as a friend. I also felt special as a friend.
But after Sunita went to the lockup and you hugged me in despair, I...I realised how much important I am to you. That sleepless night, my heart swore at me for being just your friend. I couldn't resist myself from thinking of you 24x7.
I always admire your sweet personality, like your name says so. But now, I'm having an unpreventable and immortal inclination towards you!

Honey has tears filled in her eyes. Sathya holds her right hand and has a deep breath.

Sathya proposes "Ms. Honey, would you like to spend the rest of your life as my better half? Would you want to change your name to Mrs. Honey Sathya?

Tears flow out of Honey's eyes as she tightly closes them.

Sathya: If yes, accept this bouquet as a token of love. If no, you can walk away now itself. I'll accept whatever decision you take.

Both of their hearts start to beat heavily. Sathya turns his face to the other side.

After a few minutes, Honey opens her eyes and....

Sathya couldn't believe this would happen, and his heart flutters like a butterfly.

Honey: Not only you Mr. Sathya Vinod, even my heart didn't consider you as 'just my friend'. That hug totally changed our lives.
