It's been a day since the council issued the quarantine.

And Keeley's week was just already starting.

First, the group lost half a cell block, then Keeley messed her hand up, and then she had to top it off by acting like a complete bitch to Jay. And Beth kept avoiding the Zach conversation.

And now, Keeley couldn't even see Judith because Rick didn't want her and Carl to get sick.

They had put everybody into separate cell blocks. The people who were staying in cell block D were put under heavy surveillance and the ones who were showing symptoms were in solitary.

People who had come into contact with the ones who went into D or a whole separate cell block. The sickness was spreading like wildfire and people were getting sick too fast for Keeley's liking.

Keeley stood by the door of the cell, watching  Carl as he packed a bag.

"It's not forever, it's just temporary, " She told him.

He was pissed that Rick and Keeley had to go to separate cell blocks, he didn't want to be alone especially with all the little kids, just like Keeley he hated being treated like a little kid.

"How come I can't be with you guys? I hugged Dad too." Carl argued back.

"Carl, yes you hugged Dad too, but I was down at the fence with Daryl, Glenn, and Jay and they were in that cell block. They had come into contact with the virus and I was near them so I have to be quarantined so you and Judith don't get sick." Keeley explained to him, she felt bad for him but she couldn't take him with her. "I don't like it either, but we're doing this for the both of you."

The approaching footsteps caught Keeley's attention and she turned her head to see her father making his towards them. Keeley noticed him holding his hand while he sported a couple of cuts on his face.

"It's for your own good." He explained to Carl again.

Carl sighed as he put the photo of him, Lori, and Rick in his bag. "I'm fine. I don't want to be locked away with a bunch of kids." He groaned.

"I need you in there keeping an eye on Judith and everybody else. Making sure they're safe. And if you need me or Keeley don't be afraid to call." Rick told him.

"Maggie and I will be in the offices down the hall from you, so don't hesitate to call me or her." Keeley told Carl." He didn't answer both of them as he put his gun in his holster.

"If anybody gets sick, you let me know." Rick urged.

"What if they've already turned when I find them?" Carl asked.

"You don't fire unless you absolutely need to."

"But you know I might need to, right," Carl said getting in Dad's face. Rick nodded his head as Carl walked away.

"Keeley, " Rick said. "Keep an eye on him. He's starting to become stubborn like you."

"Don't worry, but I can't promise you that we won't do anything stupid."

Something was bothering her father and she could tell by the grim look on his face. "What happened?" Keeley asked becoming serious.

He looked around before taking a step closer, "Karen and David are dead."

"What?" She asked not believing the words that came out of his mouth. Keeley wasn't that close to David like that, but she and Karen had a mutual thing going on. Keeley would run daycare and Karen would visit, bringing some treats for the kids and her but she never really had a close friendship with her. But Keeley still felt pain for the both of them in her heart, they were still people.
